Looks like the rotten, old Olmert, who famously disrespected Condoleezza Rice

"She was left shamed. A resolution that she prepared and arranged, and in the end she did not vote in favour," Mr Olmert said in a speech in the southern town of Ashkelon.

may be finally getting his due.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert sentenced in bribery scandal - CNN.com

Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was sentenced Tuesday to six years in prison for taking bribes while mayor of Jerusalem.

Olmert was also fined 1 million shekels (about $289,000), Israeli state radio IB reported.

Olmert was convicted in March of receiving about $161,000 in bribes related to a controversial Jerusalem housing project called Holyland. The judge acquitted Olmert on a third count of bribery.

The developer of Holyland, Hillel Cherney, had been previously convicted of bribing Olmert and other high-level officials in exchange for Holyland approvals.

Good job, Israel. This demonstrates accountability and transparency, even when it makes the state look bad. Meanwhile, Palestinians wage terrorist war against Israel basically on bribes entirely.

In that regard, the Israeli Supreme Court ruled

"The general point of departure of all parties – which is also our point of departure – is that Israel holds the area in belligerent occupation (occupatio bellica)"

So what? That only further proves Israel's commitment to be as careful as possible in this war against a terrorist state.

So what it means that Israel is engaged in the belligerent occupation of Palestinian land.

Well he joins a list apparently, Moshe Katsav, former president is serving a seven year sentence for rape and sexual harassment.

Right about what?

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert criticized US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and UN Security Council Resolution 1860, which calls for a cessation of violence in Gaza, during a Monday speech in Ashkelon.

"She was left shamed. A resolution that she prepared and arranged, and in the end she did not vote in favor," he said.

A never ending war.

The war will end when the "jews" will go back to Europe or kill all the palestinians.

Well he joins a list apparently, Moshe Katsav, former president is serving a seven year sentence for rape and sexual harassment.

Their country is led by thugs.

That demonstrates again that the Israeli legal system works. Where's the beef?

The history of Jews in the Middle East goes back to 1500 BC.

Those Jews were Palestinians, the current "jews" are Europeans.
It's not their land, they took it by force.

My point still stands, "Jew" is a religious term.
The people living there were ALL Palestinians, some were Muslims and other were Jews.
The Romans kicked the Jews out of Jerusalem.
Then the Persians took over and those Jews became Moslims.
Then the European crusaders came in and massacred and enslaved them until the Muslims took it back.
The "jews" from today that live in Israel are like 2 or 3% semitic and over 90% Europeans.
Today's "jews" on the news are mostly blond and look more like Hitler's Nazi Germans than the actual Jews from before the crusades.

This guy is not Semitic in anyway, shape or form:
