Re: Karl Rove: Hillary may have brain damage [W:40]
I know, Redress. My post was tongue in cheek. I feel that every person has a conscience that dictates how they live life. Is giving a beggar on the corner a few dollars to get something to eat an act of charity? I never thought so, but maybe it is. My dad taught us that you give in good faith, and that's where your participation ends. After that, it's out of your hands. Sure, there are those that work the system, but that's not my problem. I believe the universe is fair and balanced, and you are either rewarded or punished for what you do, and it has little or nothing to do with man-made laws, although they are important in a society like ours, if only as moral guidelines.
Not to pick on you Polgara, but yours was a handy post as an example of what several where doing. My apology in advance for singling your post out.
This thread shows the classic example of conservative conspiracy nonsense. Make wild assed stupid claim that is clearly not true. Defend it until it is obvious, then change the subject in the thread(remember, it is Roves wild assed claim, not who donates more to charity). Wait a few months and all any one remembers is the accusation and how long the debate went on. Claim there has to be something to it for the debate to go on so long. It used to be you al just threw **** at the wall to see what stuck, now you throw **** at people and bitch they are surrounded by ****.
