They would never get away with something like that here in America. They would be hunted down like dogs. There is the difference. We are a pretty much educated population who would not settle for less from our government.

their agenda which is.... Actually replacing the Nigerian state? Maybe, but they don't seem to attempt to do so in the territory they control, rather casting aspersions.

Of course not, things like girls being sold into sex slavery don't happen in America. /sarcasm

....how many girls in the U.S., today, do you think are trafficked for sex-slavery?

Aren't there groups, as well as police, who already try to rescue these girls? I doubt anyone is going to forget about American girls while trying to do something about the plight of young women elsewhere.

Good God, don't try to compare what happened over there, with terrorists killing people and storming a school, kidnapping close to 300 girls, to anything that goes on here. Yes, of course, there are going to be kidnappings. There is only SO much one can do to prevent that. Most of the time, American girls who are sold into slavery are runaways.

Yes, there are groups that look for missing people, as well as the police. It's not anything like Nigeria. Why some people have to try to make ridiculous comparisons, I don't know.

His comparison and deflection might have something to do with the nom de plume he has chosen.

You mean the most vulnerable people in our society? When we consider government resource allocation to fight the problem, why should these Nigerian girls take precedence over American girls?

Isn't that a disservice to American taxpayers?

Um... why wouldn't we compare? Both involve the capturing of young girls in order to sell them into slavery. That's pretty much a valid comparison right there, with the exception that it happens more here in the U.S. than has happened in this particular instance in Nigeria.
