1.) nope all lies this is why you cant back it up with any proof or links LOL
2.) this is another made up fantasy. I havent given you MY IDEA of sports news, not one time. Please stop making stuff up it only further exposes the failure of your claims.

    lets review reality again
if the youngest player was drafted it would be news and relevant
if the oldest player was drafted it would be news and relevant
if the first woman was drafted it would be news and relevant
if the first person with a physical impairment was drafted it would be news and relevant
just like now when the first openly gay person was drafted is news and relevant

    Mike is news

again sorry realities and facts bother you

no mid-level football player would get this much hype going mid 7th round in the draft. The only reason this is getting any kind of attention is because he is gay that is it.
if he wasn't gay no one would care.
I don't think gay has that much to do with it, kissing his boyfriend on TV after being drafted did. It's the shock value and timing of the "coming out" that brought all this attention.

Similar to Conchita Wurst wining the Eurovision Singing contest. It wasn't the fact that he's a transexual but the stark contrast of wearing a dark beard on a pale complexion, while being very feminine appearing is a shock.

These weren't just people breaking barriers for marginalized groups, they were bringing attention to the display of crossing the lines of conventional social standards. Right or wrong they have a right to express themselves, if someone doesn't like it, they can not look at it. I hold no ill will towards them, though the images do freak me out a bit. I saw the same look on many peoples faces that they weren't mad, as much as "shocked".

there was not barrier broken that is a buch of BS.
Actually most people are pretty clear about understanding he may not make the team and we saw that clearly with the NBA player who wasn't on a team most of the season after he came out. As for being a big deal, if you don't think it is fine, most real sports fans and people who like freedom from oppression do.

there were gay athletes before him and will be after him.
Yes and the ones before had to stay in the closet....we hope this will make that concept obsolete. Thus the big deal.

again if this was a normal guy no one would give a rats rear end.
He is normal and gay and we hope for a day when this isn't a big deal.

guess what i don't care either and neither does the majority of football fans.
but you do....you don't like that him being gay is important to people.

why? he was a mid 7th round draft pick.
    Yes

most people stop watching after the first 36 picks.
    and this is relevant why?

some watch the 2nd round but after that no no one cares.
You should have watched the 2-7th rounds there were a lot of people who cared. We will call them NORMAL football fans.

"The Kiss" seen all over the world did not do his cause any good. I don't care what a homosexual does but I cannot stomach two guy kissing and the media has shown it 10,000,000 times already. He will most likely be cut and probably for the good because in the shower there will be tension. I would not shower with a gay man.

I consider the act itself to be a psychological attack upon my child, just as the government indoctrination center saying it not only has the right, but the duty to teach my 10 year old how to put a condom on a banana!!!

It's called premature sexualization - it is inappropriate and psychologicall damaging to children. Kids should not be subjected to such things - and if you feel differently fine, go ahead and screw your kid up all you want, but you have no right to expose my child to what I would consider to be your perversion.

Just as I would have no right to proselytize your child with religion.

The fact that most Amerikans no longer have an understanding of what is appropriate or inappropriate is a clear indicator of where we are headed as a society. It is, in fact, a slippery slope; and from the standpoint of the radical left, it has to do with breaking down the family - as Marx and other leftists have written that it is essential to destroy the family, lest it be in competition with the state.

Broken families, dysfunctional families, tend to produce dysfunctional adults, which leads to a dysfunctional society in which the major player in everyone life must eventually become the government.

It's not that complicated, and it is rooted in logic from the standpoint of the radical left - destroy the family, and grow the all-powerful state to take its place.

Are you sure you watched the NFL draft? I didn't watch because I don't have cable, but I'm pretty sure a big orgy would have gotten a little coverage.

Why would that bother you more than a player kissing his girlfriend? Which we've seen, BTW...

Yes, a gay guy playing pro football is the first step in the Revolution. Congratulations on figuring it out.

Actually Conchita's not a transsexual. It's a show, but the guy playing her doesn't tend to do that in his off-stage life (AFAIK).

The beard is a bit shocking though...

Why should it not bother him? I have nothing against it in private, but I don't think an obese man being done by a fat woman with a strap-on a very appealing sight either.
