FBI investigating Bundy supporters in BLM dispute[W:338]

Well at least something was done and a group of angry supporters didn't bar the way into Congress with weapons trying to keep the Congressman's seat.... :doh

And as long as you play the CON game... Bundy wasn't facing jail but removal of his cattle from land he DIDN'T own and had no RIGHT to use... why are CONs constantly twisting this around????

NOW, after open defiance of a series of court orders coming to an armed confrontation there maybe jail time... so let's try and keep facts to the front, not a human shield or women...

i only made a comment based on congressman, nothing more...

Ditto, Bundy is but a symptom of the greater issue....Consider this man in Texas....

So sleep tight tonight Ditto, because according to your line of thinking you are just fine with land you own being taken out from under you at the drop of a hat....Ain't that great.???

Apples and road apples.
The land in question does not belong to Bundy and never did. The issue you found refers to changes in river flows that changed state boundaries that depended on the rivers in question.

If you want a cause against big brother government, you may just have found one. Bundy's case is not one however.

So Jerry is not your screen name? As for me "being a jerk", I think you read too much into words on a political message board...

See, having served in the military I am well aware of the difference between my service, and those like you that have gone into combat, and I thank my lucky stars that I was lucky enough to serve in a time of relative peace, and I do appreciate those like you that went into danger. I don't say that like others that use it as a throw away to open a sentence, or make themselves feel better, but as someone who served in the military as well and if not in combat knows, and was trained just the same. So your denigration of my service is disappointing....The rage you display, and the vitriol you spew toward me when it is likely we agree about more than disagree is sad, and displays a general disrespect for anyone you feel is the slightest refusing to kiss your ass like some kind of bully.

Whether or not you hold contempt or disdain for those who didn't wear your patch, or see your reality is really of no concern when there is freedom of association, and freedom to assemble. You of ALL people should realize that. But I get it, your just mad at the world....

You know, when I went in, I did it because I lived in Lansing MI, in a time coming out of the great Jimmah Carter depression, and didn't know a single person to get a good job so, with little prospects, and young, and all, I joined up and got out of that place...As a broke young guy, I got to be trained, see places, and most importantly, learn that there was something out there bigger than myself...A good lesson that many too often don't learn....Have you learned that Jerry?

Look, You don't know me, you only think you do. So, you shouldn't read into written words on some board as more than they are...And save the meltdowns for something that matters.

Peace brother.
You asked a question, I did my best to answer it, and you acted like a dick. As you were.

There are white SUVs suspended on the other side of the barrier?
You COULD continue to pretend to be that dense and make a fool of yourself ...or you could face the obvious intent of the sniper shouldering a rifle overlooking the confrontation through his sights and make a valid debate on that situation ...
Your choice...
Of course if you insist on obtuse questions about it, that would be a tacit admission that you have run out of valid arguments.
If that is where you must go ...
I understand...

Everyone with a gun they know how to use is a member of the militia
At least when they are arguing the 2nd amendment that is their premise.
Suddenly when the militia threat is seen as obviously unlawful only organized militia count.
I say fine ...If they insist that this dickhead isn't part of a well regulated organized militia then I say he has no 2nd amendment right to own and bear arms.

IOW, you agrees with Rosa Parks, so anuthing did is cool.

I'm gonna guess you didn't type what you meant... I agreed I had ZERO problem with protesting the enforcing of a COURT ORDER by the BLM on a habitual trespasser, liar and thief's cattle- PROVIDED they didn't goad, taunt, carry firearms and refuse to move when told to by the police in the act of enforcing that COURT ORDER.

Civil disobedience... might want to look that up... :peace

well if you notice i was commenting to another person...or are you telling me that is verboten?

Nien mein reichts spreiken comade... nicht verboten. (I was stationed in the FRG decades ago, best I can recall of the deutche I laid out to get a beer or laid. very good beer, very easy schatzches...)

So you state the obvious (again)... I will state some obvious as well... you posted in a public forum where others can see and comment- if you can't defend your comment, fine but stating the obvious as a reply is no reply worth posting... hope that helps... :peace

guy... i was very clear and i needed to defend nothing...the man cheated on his taxes,,, he was kicked for the committee, slapped on the wrist and told to pay this taxes.......these are facts.

i can only suggest you take your problems to a mod of where else who can can get help, but please, ...do not go looking for conflict...... where there is none to be had....peace be with you.

Laughing, we dun't need no steekin' mods..... :doh

you used that to compare with Bundy, then danced away when called on the differences... at least the Congressman did lose something and no ring of ranting armed folks blocked the capitol steps...

if Bundy was half a smart as the Congressman (low threshold, I know) he would have taken his slap on the wrist and paid the fees and fines...

No conflict my combat soldier avatared right wing comrade... just a correction to a CON job. Now have a good night and may tomorrow be for filling, Insha' Allah....:peace

LOL, what? I have guns, and I know how to use them, does that make me a member of something I have never formerly joined?

You asked a question, I did my best to answer it...

I noted your answer and thanked you for it.

and you acted like a dick.

Your perceiving something that just isn't there....How do you know I didn't type that, or for that matter this with a smile on my face?

As you were.

Thank you...I am always as I am.

Or you could be an honest man, and post more pictures of people holding guns, instead of the one you people post repeatedly. And if you weren't afraid of the truth coming out, you would be looking for a picture of what's on the other side of the barrier that's how many feet up in the air?

I'm not being obtuse or dishonest. . If you're so convinced that this was a big issue and this was widespread that day, post some proof.

Are you saying all gun owners are in the militia? As in the US militia? Or one man militias or what? I am not sure I understand what you mean.

I am referring to a quote that is often repeated by those who support a broad interpretation of the 2nd Amendment

Bear Arms
"I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for a few public officials."
— George Mason, in Debates in Virginia Convention on Ratification of the Constitution, Elliot, Vol. 3, June 16, 1788

And to the law
10 U.S. Code § 311 - Militia: composition and classes | LII / Legal Information Institute
(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are—
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.

If you are saying that you are not "the militia" under the broad interpretation that allows all people to own and bear arms ... then turn in your weapons. You have no 2nd amendment rights under the constitution.

You must detest all of the welfare recipients in this country then.

Cliven owes more than $1 million in fines for using federal land. But apparently that makes him a martyr while the welfare recipient is just a lowly leech.

And if they were liberal OWS pukes ****ting on peoples lawns, you'd be supporting them.

And you'd oppose them. See how partisan hackery gets us nowhere?
