It's not a double standard. Bundy was breaking the law, the federal agents were enforcing it.
So, the 2nd Amendment doesn't apply?

I've always had a problem with the word "all" - of course not all who are on welfare rape the program but many do, however the problem is that within the progressive philosophy if a single person is helped by welfare that justifies the thousands that take advantage of the program - just because one person is helped.

Also, every government social program is abused because a lot of people - especially the poor - will take as much as they can get.

I know what it's like growing up poor and living hand to mouth, but my parents never did anything immoral to get out of that rut - no they had a plan and stuck with it and progressively bettered my life and my siblings lives via dedication to their jobs..

I suppose my point is - living off the taxpayers is easy but finding success takes lots of work and dedication.

Also, it pains me to see some people label successful people as "greedy" - most aren't greedy and most worked very hard to be where they're at in life.

Wanting a better life for yourself and your family is not greed - however it is greed when you expect the government to hand it to you "just because to level the playing field."

There was all manner of criminal activity among the Occutard ranks.

No, I think some cops enjoy arresting people.

This is why I generally don't like cops.

I know there are plenty of cops that are patriots and good libertarians and don't view every individual they contact as a potential "bad guy" but there are plenty of cops that view every non-cop as a "bad guy."

To digress a little bit - 90% of the people arrested are not "bad guys."

Still not reading the article I see....
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

A significant amount of them are, to the tune of billions of dollars. Why arent you screaming about that?

Okay, but the poster said that Bundy was stealing and committing crimes against the federal government. I was asking him if it's common practice for our government to not arrest people who they know are committing crimes. It wasn't anything about policemen.

I'm not really a guitar collector but I come from a family - both immediate and extended - of musicians so I knew what it was.

If it matters the woman who sold me the guitar didn't even want to sell me the Martin unless I bought 6 other guitars so it was a lot for 100 bucks.

I generally go to garage sales to find interesting items and antiques and if I'm lucky vintage sports cards.

At any rate the Martin is in my dads recording studio - I own it but he loves displaying it. The only problem with the guitar is that the neck is slightly warped, however that can be fixed.

Also, the Martin came it the coolest case - very awesome and a good find.
