    Can Prayer Heal?

You really don't seem to understand how the human mind works. You do know that the body ultimately heals itself, and that medicine is a catalyst?

Nothing in this article suggests that prayer along cures disease. The article states that prayer helps reduce stress, gives an individual a more positive outlook and a general sense of well-being, which in turn, produces a more healthy lifestyle. But, the article is quite clear that prayer should never be an alternative to high-tech treatment and medicine.

It seems the power of the pyramid is also useful in helping living things heal and thrive.

Ultimately? That is a broad brush statement. Lots of dead people out there who would beg to differ. Sometimes people get well on their own, but it isn't because of a supernatural event brought on by prayer.

    LOL.

You know the story of the guy who was healed as part of the study? The first few pages of the Medscape article?

If you look at the actual published study, prayer was shown to have done nothing. But why actually pay attention to the science when you can pick anecdotes that make you feel better?

Many Trump supporters have lots of problems, and those deplorables are bringing those problems to us. They’re racists. They’re misogynists. They’re islamophobic. They're xenophobes and homophobes. And some, I assume, are good people.

One time a child threw my kitten up in the air. It landed badly on 1 foot. I put my hands firmly around the leg and prayed. It magically healed! 0.0 Or maybe it was jsut really badly cramped and i somehow massaged it. :p I remember not being able to be pissed at the kid and praying "Fix this kitten for your glory, for my glory, for our glory" and boom it worked. *wiggles fingers*

Already told you I have too many liberal views to be conservative yet for very select cases (basically just Justice-wise) I have conservative ideals.

Yeah I think I could have a stellar career in NK. Shut down all labor camps, plead to the world to end isolation, come to terms with the U.S., possibly open up trades, and the GDP on that ALONE should easily triple in the long run most likely more. Turn NK into an SK duplicate.

Sure, and the only time a reaction can EVER occur is if there is a catalyst, you seemed to make the point that medicine plays a minor role when really it doesn't.

I have heard being spiritual can improve someone's health (I believe it, they're probably less stressed and such) but I've never heard of one person being spiritual/religious helping someone else who is questionable, I think that's bull****.

Every year I pray that the Cubs will win the world series. A lot of good it does...
Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can sit in a boat, drinking beer all day while you fool around with his Woman.

    Heh.

I recently read a science fiction book, wherein the Cubs finally won the world series.

It was set in the year 2540 or something, I don't remember exactly. A few hundred years from now at least, however.
