We all know the old testement spoke of the evils of homosexuality...Jesus was saying (in John = NT) that whatever Moses said, he would say.

Also from the NT spoken by Jesus.

Jude 1:7-8
King James Version (KJV)
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Nowhere in the Bible does it use the term homosexuality (IN before you ask)

For SSM:

Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate (Matthew 19:4-6).

Jude is old testament, and if you're going to follow Jude, Moses, and the rest of the old testiment how do you justify not followig the other laws outlined in the old books? How do you justify wearing two types of fabric at any given time?

Matthew 19:4-6 is about divorce, but it doesn't not speak of homosexuality.

Also why don't you follow all of New Testament teachings? I'm not speaking of the short comings we all have in trying to lead lives without sin, but the other rules about clothing and other proper dress? How do you justify following some but not all the rules?

I was thinking of something else my mistake, but if you insist on dictating the way others can live their livies based on your religious beliefs I do very much think your religious beliefs are my business.

Simply giving my opinion is not 'dictating' anything. It's the same thing everyone else is doing here.

If you think I'm trying to dictate your life maybe you need to find someone to help you with your insecurities. Not me BTW.

I know you're just giving your opinion but your opinion is that religious law should be the law of the land. When I say "dictating" I mean making something law, laws are dictates. So I think I have every reason to look at the reasons behind why you think such rules should be made into laws.

And you are trying to make lifestyle choices for people no SSM, no abortion, I don't suppose you'd also support deliberately educating our children disinformation about the origin of life as well?

The decision is meaningless if you understand Putins intent, which if you care - is a Stalinistic Russia and the rise of the USSR (or a reestablishment of the union)...

I understand the point you are making, and mostly agree with it.... but you are not being totally honest here.

people are being punished for not adhering to your morals... losing their jobs, etc. ( like the ceo who lost his job for supporting anti-gay marriage causes)

so really, don't try to sell that you are not forcing your morality onto others or that there are no reprisals for not accepting your morality.. it's would be false to do so.
