[QUOTE=Missed AB;1063248090]Scientists are NOT always right!!!!

[B]Former NASA scientist Dr. Roy Spencer says that climate models used by government agencies to create policies “have failed miserably.” Report: 95 percent of global warming models are wrong | The Daily Caller

Yes, scientists are not always right, perhaps also including the ones you list that disagree with climate change.

A bunch of quotes that are often taken out of context means little. Also, people say wrong things all the time, it doesn't necessarily prove they or the institution they work for are incompetent. Of all the thousands of scientists that have studied climate change and related fields over the years, shouldn't we expect some of them would say things that are out of line, wrong, misguided, exaggerating, mistaken?

You take the entire body of work as a whole and you will see that the argument for climate change is very, very strong.

Pretty much all the scientists and institutions that are credible do. So once again your only position can be that they are "virtually all are corrupt around the world"... fat chance.

No. You have it confused. Not because it is popular, but because those who are actual experts have spoken. It's best evidence.

Only if you ignore the experts, the evidence, and the science.

Here are experts, evidence and science... YOU choose to ignore. But Libs tend to be experts... at denying the truth. It's the only way you can remain a Lib.

Ignorance is the Lib's strong point. Without it, they just might become upstanding, responsible citizens.

    Not even close.

Most of the other "complaints" are covered in very, very basic climate science that nobody is even disputing. Though I do see right-wing propaganda sites spreading the age old "common sense" idea of "the climate is always changing and climate scientists just don't get it", this is the silliest notion that I see crop up over and over and over. Yes of course the climate is always changing, they take that into account of course. It would be like asking an engineer if they have taken load into account while building a bridge.

When will people learn that things are not the way they think they are. You have to carefully study an issue to understand the true nature of it. It would be like if I went up to a construction site and decided I know how things should probably be done just by using common sense. I might get some stuff right but I would end up being very, very wrong about many things, disastrously. Why do people think they understand climate and science just because?

You have a far too high opinion of human intelligence.

We both know that there are many people on this forum who are, for whatever reason, incapable of understanding very basic concepts in physics.
