And, by the way, I DO live in a 95 percent black neighborhood. Nobody worries about getting drunk on Sonic vanilla shakes in my neighborhood. People here are a bit more sophisticated than that. They read a lot. Next time you are in Houston, I will buy myself a beer at the local bar. I'll get you a Sonic vanilla shake, and we can both get a buzz going.
OMG it was HOT in the sun facing side and cold on the tilted away side? Someone call Barak and demand we stop the planets wobble!
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

    Climate Change: Consensus

There, no one said it is man made, what I'm trying to convey to you is that humanity may be speeding up an already natural process which is bad because what happens naturally shouldn't be altered in such a way.
'no one' said it was man made? You sure about that? And humanity 'may' be speeding up an already natural process?

If the alarmists were merely delusional and barked at the moon when the weather was nice enough, we could simply get a chuckle out of them and pity the poor deluded souls, but that isn't the case - the alarmists are outright dangerous, as is exemplefied by the their designs to use the aweful power of government to do real harm to society.

They are already largely responsible for the millions of deaths in the 3rd world - especially Africa, which is prevented from industrializing b/c the environmental movement is so adept at blocking progress for them. It's truly amazing the hypocrisy of these people - they ban DDT, killing millions, then go out and raise pennies for supposedly humanitarian causes... sponsor a child, and they show you a doe-eyed kid who is starving and dying of disease - what they never admit to is it is their disgusting policy efforts that lead to that starvation and disease.

Alarmists/supposed environmentalists... they're truly disgusting. If they had their way, we'd all be living like Africans - except them of course!! Al Gore needs to maintain his lifestyle so he can jet around the globe and keep us all safe from the ravages of capitalism

Do you or don't you believe that the increased in CO2 is contributing to global warming? At some point the amount of an increase will be meaningless. The IMPC (or whatever it goes by) has to continuously revise (lowering) it's temperature precictions while still increasing CO2 concentrations, so this whole 10+ degree scare is possibly wrong. There is little to no temperature increase the past 10-15 years - with record CO2 emissions... humm. Law of diminishing returns.

We may, we may not. Maybe the alternative is an ice-age. That doesn't sound very good either. I'd rather be warm than cold.

I think the take home point is you could do more for the environment by turning off your computer and riding a bicycle, but I doubt you believe that it matters... yet somehow you think when i read your posts, it's going to make me want to change my behavior... hummm.
I response to the alternative ice age global climate change is what I've been stating not global warming so what was the point of that... And now that I think about it, I've stated global climate change this entire time and your argument is nothing but global warming being attacked on.

Maybe the CO2 blankets do not matter and the world begins to cool, it still doesn't make me any less truthful because that would be a rapid fluctuation in temperature which is global climate change.

Also the idea of me turning off everything and living the life of someone akin to an amish person is foolish. I have too much at stake to do so, plus it is not my decision, that lies with my parents. You have this aggressive way of debating in which you present your case as if you're right off the bat, foolish.

Yes, one will never die due to heat exhaustion, I made the claim that it will lead to death if untreated when my first statement was too vague for you. Then you just went on to say you will never die from heat exhaustion, which still like everything else doens't make my posts any less truthful.

Yes, I personally believe humanity is speeding up a natural process to out of control rates but there is still doubt so I tend to play it safe with the may be.

It's possible. We don't really know.

How? What is it that we do that speeds up this process?

Climate change or climate shift is the new euphemism for global warming. If you choose to be vague, then don't get upset when I assume what you mean. If you are more direct then I don't have to assume. Write what you mean.

Too much at stake to walk to school? turn off lights? Not wash your clothes every time you wear them? You refuse to make any sacrifices for the environment? Why should I take you seriously?

If you believed in what you wrote, maybe you would feel that way about your writing style. You don't know what you believe... it's a plethora of maybe's and what if's.

Actually, that you can't admit that there was a mistake in your reasoning - begs the question of your intellectual honesty. That you can't admit after 3 posts that it was a mistake, or wrong information, or maybe their was something you didn't know and learned something new... This really does speak to who you are, and what you write here. It smells like you want to be heard and don't want to listen - which makes your posts more propaganda and less informative.

But I'm sure if I gave misinformation in my posts, that was clearly wrong - like burning gasoline has no effect on CO2 emissions... and continued to defend it by saying you took me out of context, or some other rationalization/minimization, you wouldn't think very highly of my thoughts either.

So far, about 18 months. Have you ever asked one basic question: Why was the ambassador in Benghazi with a bunch of CIA operatives? The Embassy is in Tripoli.
