Knicks great calls for all-black league amid Clippers race fiasco

I think Real will go through, Bayern is not as dominant in Europe as it was in Germany. This is the year of the Spanish clubs in the Champions League IMHO. And my sig line is to show that Ajax this weekend won the Championship for the 4th time in a row (33rd championship in the history of the club). The first time in the row of championship victories was 2011 and after that they won in 2012, 2013 and now in 2014. You can see that there are three stars about the logo of my club (in my avatar), a club can add a star if they have reached 10 championships, 2 stars means a minimum of 20 championships and so on. PSV for example has 2 stars and Feyenoord has 1 star.

Maybe they can do something similar in US sports to honor the best teams like the NHL teams Detroit Redwings and Toronto who have won more 10 or more championships. Or in the NBA the Celtics and Lakers who would also be allowed to have a star to show 10 or more championships. Or in MLB the Yankees with 2 stars and the Cardinals with 1 star. But that is what I think would be cool for teams to show how successful they were in the past. For Ajax who hovered on 29 championships for years it was an explosion of joy and pride when they were able to add that third star on their jersey/logo.

I think Bayern will take it... 3-1; hopefully Müller will start with Robben.
My Dutch team would be Twente. I like Enschede... shame what happened with the explosives factory some years ago.

Yeah... I agree with the stars... it would be cool to have that somewhere on their jerseys.

BTW... look at your signature line, that is why I asked about a crystal ball... the year 20111 (Twenty-thousand-one-hundred-eleven) :)

That is what you mean with crystal ball LOL, I corrected it. Enschede was indeed rocked by a big explosion and it has been investigated thoroughly and has lead to new laws regarding the storing and production of fireworks. Twente has achieved the 3rd spot in the competition this year, qualifying for European soccer.

I also hope that Bayern will win but I am a realist. I dislike Christiano Ronaldo (arrogant poser kind of a person) for his behavior on the pitch.

I hope that the Clippers will weather this storm, maybe it will be good to kick this guy who made the racists comments out, but later today there is a press conference from the NBA so we will get more information. But segregating like was proposed is ridiculous, we do not need to go back to the times of "negro leagues and white leagues". Have we not learned from the past 70 or so years? I do not think the world has fought racist government during WW2 to recreate a new society of segregation. I also do not think MLK and the leaders of the black movement for equal rights would think segregation is the best option to solve things.

I thought they called that league the "NBA."

*rimshot*

Sadly, at the half time it is 0-3 for Real Madrid. I may indeed have a crystal ball :) but I would have not predicted a life time ban for the owner of the Clippers, I think that punishment is not in accordance with his crime/offense IMHO. A harsh punishment was more appropriate like 10 year ban but life? I am not sure about that one.

LOL... I was watching the ass kicking... OUCH!

As for the ban... this could cause a lot of interesting moments.

So does that mean there would also be an all-white league, an all-Asian league, and so on?

You know damn well that an all white league is racist.
