The car has a large back seat, that folds down, golf clubs were one of the examples.

The Elios might make a decent back-up car for running to the store for milk and the like, but we should be focusing on finding ways to get cars off the road entirely instead of just finding ways to make people feel better about putting more cars on the road.
Cars are freedom and in some places like California life. A runabout like this is a solution for people. Carpooling only really works in limited circumstance and people do that when its convenient. We have van pools for the oilfield and ag workers out here. But not everyone is the same and hence the problem.

I spit at lots of people through my computer screen. Not only does it "teach them a lesson" but it keeps the screen clean and shiny.

Heh, yep. But more so I would like a car that does everything, not one that just does one thing.

    Doesn't really exist.

The only way to take cars off the road is to remove the need for people to go from A - B. If its not cars, it bikes, buses, trains, motorcycles, on foot, horse carts, etc. Traffic of another type.

I dunno. I had an old Saturn that eventually turned into a blender. It blended the oil and coolant extremely well. Then it became a lawn ornament for a few days. Who knows what it is now. Could be a Lexus or a microwave.
