Yup. BHO is like a deer in the headlights on Keystone. Frozen by fear and indecision.

this is the problem with politics in DC. It trumps sane policy decisions. Construction could begin now, but it has to wait (yet another year)..Meanwhile oil rains are already bringing it down.

There have already been spills, and a major disaster

The safety of crude-by-rail operations has drawn increased scrutiny since July, when a train carrying crude oil in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, derailed and exploded, killing 47.

The incident was the most striking example among recent oil spills originating from trains, which have become increasingly common.
More than 99 percent of hazardous material shipments reach their destinations without spills, according to the Association of American Railroads.

Yet more crude oil was spilled in American rail incidents in 2013 than in the previous four decades, according to a McClatchy Newspapers analysis of federal data.

Oh, he's made a decision. The decision is to put off making any decision until after the election. That was a firm decision, too.

I agree with KXL, if for no other reason than to take away a GOP issue designed to divide enviro and energy DEMs .
In my county of Illinois, GOP politicians and farmers are fighting against an oil/gas pipeline.
Just as the Nebraska ranchers and farmers are fighting KXL and the heavy-handed use of eminent domain by Trans-Canada .

Will we see the GOP House of NO come up with previously promised legislation on
Immigration, Tax Reform and a Health Care plan after the mid-terms?

See how that works both ways tres ?

the issue just sums up the entire liberal agenda.

    entitlement expansion - Priority #1
    abortion/gay marriage/(insert cause celeb) - Priority #2
    Economic Stability & Growth - Priority #2,457

Why anyone who works for a living(and has a mortgage to pay) could vote Democrat continues to amaze me.

It seems that Unions on both sides of the border are for it.U.S. Pipeline Contractors Association and Unions Pledge Their Support for Keystone XL Project

Mitt Romney had an excellent, I thought, North American energy plan which would have benefited and helped secure the continent.

We can play that with the Cons as well.

    The Conservative Agenda

Fight anything Dems come up with (including breathing air if they could) Priority #1
Push Religious Agenda, Ban Abortion/ SSM Priority #2
Economic Stability and Growth Priority # 6,456

How anyone with a brain could vote for Cons continues to amaze me.

See I can do hyperbole as well. The problem is you actually think the GOP cares about the people. BOTH the Dems AND the GOP just care about wining their next election no matter the cost to the people.

When YOU wake up and realize reality, you let us know CON.
