In the US, people are more attentive to their finances than their electoral decisions (even if their financial attention is still inadequate).

The delusional minds are those of the right (conservative) wing that keeps electing GOP pols in the hopes that they will create limited govt.

You let us know when that actually happens, won't you? In every single case in modern memory that such things have been pushed, it hasn't been the federal government doing it, it's come from the state level and below.
The point is that you have no control over what the Feds in DC decide on what can be taught in schools but you can with your local school boards. You have more power.

The feds can decide, for example, Islamic studies must be taught in schools but not Christian studies. If you happen to agree with that then you'd be happy. If you feel this is not the mandate of the federal D of E you'd be unhappy. In either case you'd be largely powerless..

Yes, that seems to be the case. The government will become ever more powerful and expensive until it collapses on itself. There seems to be little anyone can do.

Which is why most people have absurd credit card debt and bankruptcy is rampant, right?

Nobody is going to create limited government, especially not the GOP, which are far more liberal than they are conservative. There's nothing conservative about the Republicans and I don't support them as a party, sorry for your assumption.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

You know, this is exactly where Libertarians and other 3rd parties get absurd. They know that their platforms do not resonate with the American voters, that's why they lose pathetically every single election, yet like a cult, they are supremely convinced that theirs is the only system that makes sense and somehow, there's some vast conspiracy at the top to keep everyone from seeing how wonderful their political philosophy is. They pretend that the Federal Government is an alien entity, imposed on the American people. It's not. It's what the American people want. That's why they voted it in. So instead of continuing to lose pathetically, they want to keep reducing the size of government down to the point where they can stack the deck in some small town somewhere and live in their Libertarian fantasy land. It's laughably absurd.

The feds can decide, for example, Islamic studies must be taught in schools but not Christian studies. If you happen to agree with that then you'd be happy. If you feel this is not the mandate of the federal D of E you'd be unhappy. In either case you'd be largely powerless..
Yeah, but they don't do that, do they? This kind of paranoid delusion that you and other 3rd party people seem to have is absurd. Oh yeah, they can mandate that we dissect babies, that's just paranoid nonsense to think that they actually will. Stop being ridiculous.

Mostly because Libertarians don't respond to reason, the only thing left that they can comprehend is laughing at them.

Clearly not but you're welcome to your delusions.
