Nope. You may be missing the point but Im not a fan of Bundy's. This isnt about saving the poor picked on cattle rancher. Its about an administrations horribly impotent attempt at collecting a debt. And the people that think that was a 'good' idea.

Defy requests for payment.

Defy court orders to remove your property (cattle) from federal lands.

Tell the feds you'll resist federal court orders.

Tell militia groups the feds are coming for your cattle.

Feds show up anticipating armed confrontation with armed militia groups.

The feds should have showed up with peace signs and flowers and asked, pretty please with sugar on top, and a cherry.

And this guy has already said he'd bring in militia people to protect him, I don't think you have any choice but to bring in armed people in response, simply for the safety of the employees.

BTW, I love how the federal employees who were doing their jobs are "goons," yet the self-deputized militia types get so such pejorative. Patriots, I'm assuming?

Never said anything of the sort. Ive never said a single positive thing about Bundy EVER. This is about the horribly impotent effort by the administration to collect a debt...and those that defend it.

Perhaps because the previous administrations didnt think collecting the debt warranted millions of dollars in effort. HEll...for that matter...why did it take THIS admin 5+ years since..you know...its so completely important?

And how did that whole debt collection thing turn out. In addition to the money he DIDNT pay...what would you say this debacle cost...round figure?
