Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat[W:208]

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

They did not ignore it for 20 years. You can say it until hell freezes over, but that still won't make it true.

So, a handful of cruisers show up with a hundred or so people, women and children at the front of the pack, and about two dozen snipers on an overpass with their rifles aimed at the skull of everyone who was involved in trying to serve a court order. So they left because they didn't want to go home in a body bag, and they didn't want to open fire into a crowd of civilians. And you are calling them "bitches"?? Apparently you were disappointed that the body count ended up at zero.

That is what is Pathetic.
Yep. Bitches. They were morons for rolling in with their pathetic show of force and looked even more stupid rolling out with their tails between their legs. The administration MIGHT get the message...drawing 'lines in the sand' is a rather impotent approach. And seriously...dood didnt pay his fees for 20 years...and you actually applaud THAT approach to resolving the problem? Thats embarrassing. Maybe we should send in SWAT teams after people that dont pay parking tickets. OF course...if they refuse to pay, the SWAT teams can just pile back in their clown car and drive home.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

and unfortunately for the freeloading cowboy, the government cannot just walk away from it at this point. If the govt tries it is inviting thi sort of behavior next time. I bet the cowboy and all his skirt hiding gooberment hating fellow cowboys end up in jail for obstruction of justice. It is, after all, all on film.

If the US Government can bust up crime syndicates, Bundy and his rag tag militia supporters won't stand a chance. Time is on the government's side in his case, they'll patiently await him pissing on sage brush sometime out on the range, and they'll snag him up.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

That's what happens when you threaten the government with resistance.

Is it? When did that start?

You don't "threaten with resistance", you just resist.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

They didn't "ignore it for 20 years." Going through the court system is not "ignoring" anything. Stop making stuff up.

And I love how the feds not escalating an armed confrontation with a bunch of ****kickers makes then "little bitches." Because clearly, the optimal solution would have been to blow a bunch of people away. Grow the **** up.
You simply wont get it. Dont send in an armed response in the first place. Because when you then run away like little bitches...well...

The administration tends to make monsters out of bunnies.

You are totally confused. The government backed down because they didn't want dead civilians lining up the desert. But, that's probably what Bundy supporters wanted, except, it didn't end that way.

Do you think Bundy has had the last word on this? If you do, you're kidding yourself.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

No. They shouldnt have sent an armed response team in in the first damn place. This administration goes out of its way to draw lines in the sand. Seriously...THATS the best response you have to a guy that wont pay his bills? Lord help us if you have to actually handle something that ****ing matters.

The Feds cannot frighten the Russians, Syrians, Mexicans, or anyone else for that matter, so now their own people are going to get the brunt of their impotent outrage.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

Here's what's going to happen now. Time will pass, people will lose interest in this issue, just as they do with every issue, and then he will be evicted off his land for the totally legal reasons that he should be. You can't just claim squatter's rights on Federal land.

Yes, I will grant you that the Fed made a ridiculous show of force,
but the legal framework has not been altered.

The guy knowingly broke the law, and has no real legal argument against seizure.

They issued court orders more than once. He ignored them, literally for over a decade. He owed over a million dollars. Tell us, what would you do? Send more letters? That "look tough," Mr. Tough Guy Expert?

Your post would still not make sense.

The only thing that would have looked "tough" to Mr. Mack would have been a firefight, at which point he'd be screeching about the Obama administration turning guns on its own citizenry.

The right's trying to have it both ways -- they get to either call the administration a bunch of sissies, or totalitarian tyrants massacring civilians.

He's not squatting on Federal land.

THATS it, huh? THATS the extent of your ability...send letters or send in goon squad? Holy ****...you cant help yourself...can you?

Ive pointed out since day one...the WORST thing that could happen was ANY type of a physical or armed conflict. You know what is pathetic? YOU and people like you are fixated on that as the only possible alternative.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

They didnt remove the cows from the government land. They removed the cows from Bundy's private property.

Where in the courr order does ot say the BLM had the authority to confiscate the cows?

We would need to read a copy of the court order, which is not available to us, which was issued by a federal judge.

No, as I understand it, cattle was removed from BLM (government) property, not his ranch, unless you can provide proof they were removing cattle from Bundy's 160 acres.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

well he's been grazing on land managed by the FBLM and he hasn't paid for 20 years. Where's the legality?

Perhaps, but he lives on private property. Get your facts straight.

Still waiting for that alternative of yours, since you're just so much smarter than the rest of us.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

Hence, he can't be evicted.

Nitpicking over semantics because you have no actual argument to make here in the moron's defense.
