Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat[W:208]

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

That's the cost of taking up arms against people trying to enforce the law. Do you feeling the same way about drug dealers taking up arms against the police?

I don't feel like we should "fill them full of holes". I'm surprised by your tolerance and I assume your pro death penalty since anyone who is a law breaker must die according to you. Stalin and Mao one of your hero's by chance?

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

Step away from the Right Wing noise machine. There is no rebellion starting.

Yea, sure. You keep believing that.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

It should be handled through the courts and when the land is transferred, then the government steps in an gets the monies they feel are owed + interest. NOT starting a civil war.

The guy has ignored two court orders (no doubt he deems anything he does not want to do as "unconstitutional"). Likewise, he self exempted himself (no surprise) from paying the land usage fees for not one, but five years.

I cant wait until some Occupier declares that court orders telling him to pay his student loans are "unconstitutional", refuses to pay them for five years, and then surrounds himself with armed thugs when the government tries to arrest him.

I know, I know, only right wing anarchy is cool. Left wing anarchy cant be cool.

Do you consider a massacre of ranchers under orders of the Federal Government to be a "winning" solution? What's silly is that, once such a thing occurs and all the ranchers and supporters are dead, that's an acceptable solution to you and nothing could go wrong with that strategy could it.
I dont care if they are sexy right wing ranchers or unsexy leftist Occupiers, people need to pay for the public recesources they choose to purchase. It does not matter if is money for college loans or pasturage.

If people take and dont pay, they risk being arrested. If they choose the shoot it out, then they take the concequences. Right wing, left wing, or middle wing, it does not matter.

The fact that Bundy self exempted himself (stole) for five years evaporates any sympathy I have for him. That aside, I am not a big fan of the endangered species act and think any third generation farmer or ranchers privelages to certain areas should be respected.

Nevadans (and others) who hate Bundy don't understand that this isn't about Bundy or grazing rights, it's about the Constitution. It's about states' rights, and a galactically overreaching federal power, with supporters like Reid who should be representing their state but aren't.
Nope, its about somebody choosing to use a recesource and then not paying for it.

I dont have alot of sympathies for the Occupiers refusing to repay studnet loans, and I have little sympathy for a rancher who chooses to use public pasturage and then refuses to pay for it.

Obama needs to follow Washington's example and have those guys filled with holes.

The preferable outcome is that those in violation will use the court system to settle such disputes rather than take up arms against their own government. Government use of force against its own citizens should always be last resort and only be utilized when all other options are exhausted.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

Are you just trying to make up somthing to argue with yourself about? I said the government was not out gunned and wasnt. If you want pretend the cowboys bullied and outgunned the US government go head. Turn off the Wild West Channel and the RW noise machine, maybe thought will be clearer.
So you're thinking about this tactically then... so how outgunned? Do you consider a massacre of ranchers under orders of the Federal Government to be a "winning" solution? What's silly is that, once such a thing occurs and all the ranchers and supporters are dead, that's an acceptable solution to you and nothing could go wrong with that strategy could it.

Perhaps you can answer the questions.... all your dodging and weaving is making me dizzy.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

You must have already been dizzy, cause I am not dodging or weave anything. You are making up stuff and trying to argue with me about it. Just argue with yourself. Save us both some trouble.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

The Government won...and in fact was born from it.

Trying to equate this situation to the revolutionary war is rather pathetic and just plain silly. If you by chance, do not see the differences or believe for some reason that a population revolting against foreign powers is akin to an extremely small part of the citizenry deciding to take up arms against it's own Government....there is not much to discuss here.

One more vote from me for pathetic.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

I guess we can expect the local DP bad a$$ militia to pack their guns and head to Nevada.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

I wonder if a just society need use military force to collect fees?

Is he accused of any violent practice? Is he facing charges on illegal weapons, anything warranting armed force?

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

By the way, where the hell is sherrif Joe, that is kinda in his neighborhood. I thought he was going to arrest Obama or something.

He'll send out his newest deputy.

More meaningless babble. Stop with your analogies of other members, all are false.

I'll bet Faux News has a satellite truck on Bundy's ranch right now.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

Did they leave? Yea. Not so delusional.

Leaving to avoid violence and bloodshed likely or even possible does not equate to being outgunned. To even think for a moment that Gov't forces were cowered into retreat defies imagination and indicates a profound ignorance. One contingent of national guard would likely get these folks to peeing pants and hiding in the outhouse.

No militia, especially one composed of puffed up cowboys would survive three minutes after the first shot was fired...no need to even consider regular army.

How about the government attempting to serve an arrest warrant for contempt of court? And Bundy resists arrest? And his militia interferes with federal law enforcement officers?

I'm just glad there are limits beyond murder for stealing. It's all right there... "fill them full of holes". You're seriously going to defend that? :lamo

Is he charged with resisting arrest?

Link please

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

No, armed forces is not generally needed.

I fact, the government collects fees from millions of citizens everyday. Of course, those citizens dont self exempt themsevles from paying for the things they choose to purchase (in this case pasturage) and they dont surround themselves with hundreds of goons either.

I cant wait untill the leftists catch on to this:

- My voluntarily incurred debt on student loans is.... you know, uhmm.... "unconstitutional"
- The courts that order me to pay are also "unconstitutional"
- The fact that I choose to purchase that product does not matter.
- My militia says they will resist the "unconstitutional" police who try to arrest me or sieze my property as a means to pay the loan...
-Oh, and since I am third generation "X". I have a mystical entitlement to a free education

Hell, if this "logic" worked for this rancher, it should work for these guys- right? OccupyLA

If an armed militia takes action against federal laws, I might be, but your remarks are way out of touch.

We used troops on occupiers?

I missed that.

I suppose if an Amerikan ignores two court orders its grounds for a drone attack.

Courts cost so much money..

I mean now that we, here on the internet have found him guilty just do it....I mean cattle are a threat to national security, they give off a lot of methane and all.....

Ahhh, the ole rightwing tactic of taking things out of context. Your comment is a joke.

Re: Armed guards surround Bundy, supporters fear imminent threat

LAS VEGAS -- Local rancher Cliven Bundy may have his cattle back, but his supporters say they are still preparing for an imminent threat.

Militia groups from all over the country say they are flocking to the Bundy ranch to protect the family from a feared federal government raid.

The Bureau of Land Management allowed Bundy to release his cattle Saturday, after they felt threatened.

Bundy now has a whole contingent of armed guards surrounding him 24 hours a day.

Ummm, why are you ignoring the fact that supports of Bundy are stopping American officers from enforcing the state's laws with weapons?
