Maybe this question has been answered, but does anyone know if he is going to be himself, or the character he plays on Comedy Central?
I couldn't find a picture of Limbaugh on Comedy Central, so I suppose this is more likely.
Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?

I love Steven Colbert and like others, I'm sorry to see him end his own show.
I'm also sorry Letterman is retiring, because frankly I really like the guy. Nobody can bring out the comic genius of his guests like Letterman, with his facial expressions, self-deprecating gestures, he plays the part of straight-man to make his guests (those who have a personality beyond that of soggy cornflakes) look truly excellent. Those who are stoned, drunk or just plain lousy, Dave can put in their place with a smirk and a sharp-witted quip.
Personally, I don't think I've ever loved anything as much as watching Letterman, who is scared to death of animals, host Jack Hanna's menagerie. Watching Dave's expression when Hanna plops something with fangs and claws on Dave's desk is comedy gold. I will truly miss that.
I hope Colbert does well and surpasses expectations. He's a brilliant comic with a razor-sharp wit, and whatever he brings to the new Late Night Show will no doubt be incredibly interesting.
