Cry some more. Assembly and protest are amongst the most valued of rights and must be protected. Sorry you don't like the consequences of freedom, but I suggest you get over it.

it seems to me if they spent more time getting a better education, working, investing and coming up with their own idea then they could get to the same point as these people did.
instead they stand on a corner crying about it while not getting paid.

that makes sense. lets cry about not having something someone else has and not get paid. instead of going out and making our own idea's and get paid for it.

maybe if they spent more time on their education and job skills they could get a nice paying job with one of those tech companies.

And if they went about it in the legal way then they are protected...This however, I suspect wasn't handled in that way.

Oh you suggest? Yeah? or else what? What are YOU Ikari going to do? Maybe you should take a pill or something.

A permit to exercise a right?

While i agree this behavior is assinine, i'm betting you don't think gun owners should be required to have permits to execise THAT right.

Then hold a counter protest. Or instead of sitting around wading time being concerned about the activities of this group of apparently undereducated unemployed jerks, you focus on your own work and your own business.

The Founders acted out, for free, because they didn't enjoy the representation others had.

You need to calm down. They peacefully assembled and protested legally. You can protest from the sidewalk. You're sitting here crying about a group exercising rights because you don't like their message, trying to make it seem like they did wrong because you don't like the message. Well you ain't the queen of England, your word is not law.

This is a consequence of freedom, people will say things you don't like. But you sound just like one of these entitled protestors, crying about his we should infringe upon assembly and protest because you don't like what is being said. I suggest you learn to accept the repercussions of freedom.

Yep, that's right....You need a permit. Not for the person, or entity you are protesting, but to protect you, and others....

"Whether you're marching on city hall, holding a candlelight vigil, or rallying outside the statehouse or a private business, you should check your local permit ordinance before you put on your marching shoes and pull out the megaphone.

While regulations vary, here are some guidelines:

The government can't prohibit marches on public sidewalks or streets, or rallies in most public parks or plazas. But it can often require a permit to regulate competing uses of the area and to ensure you respect reasonable time, place and manner restrictions.

You shouldn’t need a permit for demonstrations that don't "realistically present serious traffic, safety, and competing-use concerns beyond those presented on a daily basis by ordinary use of the streets and sidewalks." If you hold a small rally in a public park or march on on the sidewalk and obey traffic laws, you generally won’t need a permit."

    snip

    "PRIVATE PROPERTY

Can I protest on private property?

As a rule, the First Amendment doesn't give you the right to engage in free-speech activities on private property unless you own or lease the property, or the owner has given you permission to use the property for speech. But you may canvass door-to-door in residential areas, unless the homeowner has put up a "no solicitors" sign."

If this neighborhood had signs up that said "No soliciting", or neighbors felt like they couldn't move freely in their own neighborhood, then the protesters have a problem.

While i agree this behavior is assinine, i'm betting you don't think gun owners should be required to have permits to execise THAT right.
Gun owners DO need permits to exercise their rights....What are you talking about?

i have better things to do like work and invest and increase my personal value. unlike these guys i don't have free time to sit around and complain that someone has more than me.
they should follow what successful people do not what unsuccessful people do.

successful people work invest and gain knowledge to increase their value.
unsuccessful people sit for hours holding signs that it isn't fair.

the founders were all successful businessmen or workers.

also i find that protesting government oppression a bit more valued than protesting someone simply because they have more than you do. which you could have as well if you weren't protesting, but working and educating yourself.
