Normally government stuff like this annoys me, but I find this funny

Yeah, can we say the same about the Puerto Ricans? Hell, even most of Hawaii's native population doesn't have much to offer us. I simply disputed this:

The sad fact is they have little too trade apart from young Cuban women.

That wouldn't work out very well because one set of problems would be replaced with a newer set of the same problems, namely, if the current government was disposed, a new government would invariably be created and installed, which would revert back to previous settings or get even worse, and in-between that transition millions of Americans would die, which in the end, would prove to be needless. And that's assuming that a grassroots effort could even unseat the government, which considering the technological superiority the government enjoys, puts the odds around nil.

No, what's needed is more contact with Congressmen/Congresswomen and Senators and more activity in educating our fellow citizens to how far this nation has gotten off the tracks and that if we wish to alter the course we're on, we need to do it while we still have some leveraging power.

Cuba is a wonderful country. That's why our Coast Guard is constantly struggling to prevent Americans fleeing to Cuba.

Yes, people from all over the world are flocking to Cuba to take advantage of their medical procedures and facilities and it's easy to see why. Hospital Clnico Quirrgico

You should read about some of the crazy **** Kennedy did to undermine Castro - a lot of his ideas were pure comedy. Some ideas he actually employed while others he didn't but they were all insane.

I have always enjoyed propaganda - especially the weird stuff.

I think every major superpower has their own propaganda wing where they just make **** up and pass it off.

This is why I take everything governments say with a grain of salt....

    You're not even trying:

And the foreigners-only pharmacies fully stocked with imported drugs, reminding me of President Jimmy Carter’s admonition (presented live on Cuban TV during his visit to Cuba in January 2001) that Cuba can buy all the drugs its needs from Mexico, Brazil, etc. at prices well below those charged in the United States.
These are the hospitals where Cubans have to go because they do not have the hard currency to pay the Castro brothers, like their foreign patients can do.
Argentinean soccer star Maradona, for example, has traveled several times to Cuba to receive treatment to combat his drug addiction. But Cubans are not even allowed to visit those facilities.
It was like being in a dream where two different things can happen at the same time. We were in a two-tier system: one for the privileged (tourists, for example) and the other for those who lived and worked in socialist Cuba.
Even your source admits that tourists go to Cuba for medical procedures. Not taking advantage of this like the Europeans have is ridiculous. We'd benefit from having cheaper doctors and having some sort of communication with everyday Cubans and they'd benefit through a new source of income.

Cuba allowed a Russian warship to dock there just a month ago, has everyone forgotten?

No love lost for the government of Cuba. Do whatever it takes to topple them. We can't have an enemy that close to our border.
