Oregon Gov. hopeful links gay marriage with murder

Murder and theft aren't actions condoned by civil societies, religious or not. Playing dumb is one thing, but I think you've overplayed your hand.

There have never been civil societies that weren't religious.

So we are slaves to your will then? We don't get a vote or an opinion? Our first amendment rights aren't valid?

No, since when do you get to vote against someone else's rights? Since when do you get to vote in an unconstitutional law? Your first amendment rights don't cover restricting someone else's actions, no matter how much you wish them to.

Why the slave hyperbole? You arent being forced to marry a dude.

Why do they get to vote against my rights?

I am not talking about restricting other people's rights. I even proposed just the opposite. But that doesn't matter does it? Why should christians, Jews, and Muslims be forced to recognize and even facilitate/participate in.

Because he was trying to assert that only his opinion should be allowed to vote.
