No, it's not, it shows even the so-called desparate uninsured, who were dying for insurance, won't sign up, won't pay even when it's subsidized. And you are absolutely reversed - it's highly unlikely that most will pay beyond the first payment. A year in and I think most will be uninsured again due to lack of payment.

At the current cost and rising it is just another example of a Federal social program that cost more than intended, covering less than intended, and never solving a problem. What is it about spending someone else's money to get these kind of results that motivates people like you to support failure?

But since you like survey's, try this one:

Survey: Roughly 3.5 million gained coverage under the new health law

Survey: Roughly 3.5 million gained coverage under the new health law | The Rundown | PBS NewsHour

It's a Gallup poll as well. And it clearly states this:

“The Affordable Care Act, commonly referred to as ‘Obamacare,’ appears to be accomplishing its goal of increasing the percentage of Americans with health insurance,” said Gallup’s analysis of the findings.

Everyone pay close attention to the shell game being played here.

Gallop showed a total of 3.5 million people "gained health insurance" under the new law, ABC reports that Medicaid added 3 million people to Medicaid.

Earlier a 32 State review showed that 4.7 million people lost insurance due to Obamacare in those 32 states while 20% of the touted 7 million enrolled in Obamacare haven't actually paid... so that appears to be a bit of a wash with about as many people losing insurance as signing up for private insurance.

So of the 3.5 million people added, apparently 85% of them were Medicaid recipients. This could have been accomplished without touching the private market.

    Won't? Hardly shows that.

But UHC would be a better option.

Too soon for that. You're leaping to conclusions not yet supported.

Maybe, but they could be two separate numbers.

Why? You don't seem to get it, you are paying for the uninsured in your state now and with ACA you are paying for the uninsured in other states as well. Liberals simply think with their hearts. UHC would be another Federal Disaster just like Medicare is which is a single payer system that is underfunded and had money contributed "borrowed" by Congress to spend on what they want to spend. You continue to have faith in a Federal Govt. that has created a 17.3 trillion dollar and growing national debt. Why? wouldn't it be easier just giving the American people a check?

Don't you think the Obama admin would be advertising that front and center if they were?

    Here's another number:

But researchers at the Urban Institute's Health Policy Center have weighed in with their own estimate. They're figuring that the ACA has reduced the number of uninsured Americans by 5.4 million from the first quarter of 2013 through early March this year.

Their estimate is based on data from their March 2014 Health Reform Marketing Survey, which consists of public polling. Their finding is that the uninsurance rate for adults ages 18–64 was 15.2% for the nation in early March, a decline of 2.7 percentage points since September 2013, just before open enrollment on the exchanges began Oct. 1.

"This represents a gain in coverage for about 5.4 million adults," they write.

A look at how many Obamacare enrollees were uninsured: 5.4 million - latimes.com

And if we put everyone in a UHC system, we'd pay less on the whole and have better access. Isn't that what you want?

It does seem to be presented that way. Are you expecting a parade with fireworks?
