You're right. The fact that Gallup predicted Romney to win by a point does make their polls suspicious at best.

Uninsured Rate Fell or Held Steady in Almost Every State Last Year, New Census Data Show — Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

The share of residents without health coverage fell in 20 states last year, Census data released yesterday show, while rising in just one. This improvement largely reflect increased private coverage among young adults — helped by a health reform provision allowing them to stay on their parents’ insurance plans until age 26 — and greater enrollment in public programs such as Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

These findings are consistent with last week’s Census data from the Current Population Survey (CPS), which indicated that the number of uninsured Americans fell by 1.3 million in 2011 and the share of Americans without health insurance fell from 16.3 percent to 15.7 percent, the largest single-year drop since 1999.[1] Yesterday’s data come from a different Census Bureau survey — the American Community Survey (ACS) — that allow for more detailed analysis of health insurance coverage changes at the state level than the CPS data, which have inadequate sample sizes in some states.

As many people as possible. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at such an idiotic statement.
You know that the administration believes any goal is just another line it can move about freely depending on the circumstance without consequence.

So you favor allowing providers to deny care to the uninsured? Its a "personal" choice after all.

Facts? it is a fact that Gallup made that poll, the accuracy however is in question since the official numbers come from the govt. How do you explain the over 2 million difference?

I know what you were responding to. Just as you know that the 48 million unisured estimate was a very early esitmate... We both know.

If you want to back away to that...so be it.

I believe in states administering healthcare and the states are responsible to the citizens. We don't need a national program but rather state programs to handle the healthcare issues if that is what the people want? There is a reason that Democrats are running from Obamacare, how about figuring out why?

When I am wrong I admit it, I was responding to the poster who made the claim of 48 million and with 6 million now reported that leaves 42 million. Whether that is right or wrong I have no idea, but I do know that 6 million hasn't been defined and certainly is a drop in the bucket for a program that is over 3 years old. WE have no idea how many of that 6 million were previously insured but lost their insurance due to Obamacare

And what was Matthews' take on it? I'm paraphrasing here because I didn't write down his exact words but you can see them on video later I'm sure.

He said the problem is that the ACA was aimed at the "working poor" who he described as people with jobs who take the bus to work but can't afford to buy insurance. He said the "non-working poor" weren't the target of the ACA and their inclusion isn't going to be the basis for success. He went on to say that the "working poor" should be front & center, jumping up & down cheering about how great the ACA is and how it helped them - and they aren't.

Even Chris Matthews knows what a joke this story is.
Who's Obama trying to fool ?

    People like Top Cat ?

Doesn't he realize those people are already under the influence of his perennial Bull S*** ?

I mean he could have told the media that 66 Million people signed up, and Liberals would have bought it and then showed up here and embarrassed themselves.

People like Top Cat HAVE TO take what ever he feeds them, because they've devoted so much energy and time to that corrupted ideology.

And since Liberals dont understand or appreciate the concept of humility, they WON'T change their minds.

No, the 6 million only includes people who are insured through the exchanges. It doesn't include people who are insured outside the exchanges. I've already explained this to you
