So I dealt with the rest of your post, can you now admit you'd be posting ad nauseum against it if under American supervision a referendum took place and 95% of the voters supported the policy that the US did? What you're accepting from Russia is something you'd never accept from the US.The US/EU was courting the Ukraine as Russia was. Russia won and the west couldn't take it and sponsored and supported a violent coup of the elected government. Only idiots would blame Putin for calling bull**** and doing what he has to do now to protect his assets and interests. Just going to have to deal with it and move on. Why do YOU even care?
Because you're inconsistent.
The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected.
With Eastern and Southern portions of the former USSR, Russia would be only a shadow of its' past and the US and our new allies would overwhelm Russia in wealth, population and military power. We prospered and won the last cold war. We would win another one far, far more. Russia is already a collapsing country by virtually every measure, even population decline. It is a country of unemployed alcoholics. But for Western cowardice and appeasement (as with Hitler) the West could crush Russia in terms of economics and world status.
This is the stupidest move Putin could have made, but Obama and NATO are determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. A billion people will ultimately die for making treaties to avoid world nuclear proliferation worthless.
Killing one person is murder, killing 100,000 is foreign policy
Everything in your life is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, don't blame someone else, or expect others to make a change, you should stop complaining and make a different choice. Remember, the circumstances of your birth don't determine the outcome of your life.
