Almost every parade I've ever been to the marchers often had some kind of sign identifying who they are. Gay groups should be afforded the same courtesy.
I thought All these High School marching Bands are into Competitions and get to cross the country to be in some of these parades. When did the LGBT Community have the Right to screw up their portion of the Parade and decide they have the Right to Compete with Kids schools?

Well let's see.. cities and parade organizers come to an agreement on cost. That means cost of police, closure of roads and diverting traffic.

You keep saying this but it isn't true. It's a public event. A non-profit is the organizer, I would bet. Not the church and not a private group, it is a public event with a public organizer, even though it may not be a government organizer, per se.

Get back to me when you have an answer to the question.
I'm already gearing up for Finger Vote 2014.

Just for reference, means my post was a giant steaming pile of sarcasm.

You're wasting your breath. He has no idea who paid how much for what.

Why? Because you want it? How about you change the Church? Or just wait for one more Pope.. if Saint Malachy is correct.. Rome will be burning.

Nope. It's not the right place to be "heard". It's not a political march now is it.. There are plenty of other marches for them to be heard. Hell, they have a whole month to be heard too. It's called June.

I don't have to change the Church. I left the Church for a variety of reasons. If you remain a member of the Church, or really any organization, you either accept its tenets or you work to change them. If you aren't working to change them, you have accepted them.

It's a march down a public street. So long as order is maintained, nobody should be allowed to decide what it is except for those who are participating.

You really think that $4000 pays for 20 cops and the street closures? Really? Not even close. It's nice that they paid a nominal fee, but that parade still happened on the public's dime.
