That was good of them to go ahead and do that for the people...

I notice the vote was not 78-0, but 78 out of a hundred. Sounds realistic. Send some of those people to Kiev to show them how to get democracy going. Wait a minute, that's not what they want in Kiev. It's hard to find a good dictator when you need one, eh?

Schröder's parliament leader also said Bush was like the dictator, Julius Ceasar and his minister of justice said Bush's policies were more like Adolf Hitlers. They should know, right?

Re: Crimea parliament declares independence from Ukraine ahead of referendum

According to the poll, 97 percent of the population of Sevastopol and Crimea negatively view the situation in Ukraine regarding the Kiev coup-imposed government, while 84 percent say that Ukraine is experiencing a crisis.

A total of 83 percent of the population of Crimea disapprove of the coup-appointed government in Kiev, the poll found.
So the people of Crimea would prefer to be part of the Russian Federation rather than the new Nationalist (neo-nazi) totalitarian government propped up by the CIA. If given that choice I think I would chose the same.
