LOL....what is the nature of man? What is the nature of woman? This should be good.

Other than sexual organs....what makes a gay marriage different than a straight marriage in your mind?

Do you believe men and women are the same? What would lead you to that conclusion? What evidence do you have that men and women behave or respond to situations the same? For that matter, what makes you think that a man and woman want the same thing out of a relationship?

You could take two straight married couples and almost guarantee that their marriages are not the same. Whether or not their marriage is exactly the same as anybody else is pointless to consider. The important thing is why they want to get married.

The most you might see at a gay pride parade are outrageously flamboyant drag queens and a few boys in go go shorts.

BTW....I take my children every year. They love it....and I haven't seen hardly anything that I think is inappropriate for them. Quite the contrary. They were approached and handed a "coloring book" by anti-gay evangelists last year that included a lot of material that was sexually explicit and very inappropriate. Probably trying to "scare" kids straight. Personally, I found it disgusting.
You compare Mardi Gras to LGBT parades? Absurd.

One of the larger parades takes place outside my front door every year. If public decency laws were enforced, hundreds would be arrested. I think horse tail butt plugs, and simulated anal sex by float riders is most likely not taking place on Mardi Gras floats.

There is no comparison, and it's stupid to try to make one. I can provide an avalanche of picture examples if you'd like.

Frankly, I don't care one way or the other. I just think it's about as lame and mentally void to pull this kind of crap in public as it can be. Claiming is does society no harm, or children no harm, is just ignoring reality.

I don't think that any generic woman responds to the same situation the same as any other generic woman. I think every man and woman are unique and different. I don't think that there are things that are inherently similar in all women or men. I think most women and men want the same thing out of a relationship. Then again....I'm not of the mentality that envisions a woman in an apron dancing around the house dusting and preparing dinner for her 3 piece suit/briefcase husband.

LOL. If a Husband is African American and the wife is White how is that exactly like the married couple that both husband and wife are African Americans?

Not exactly the same...is one couple "more married" than the other?

Your reasoning on gender is no more valid as my lame example.

I'm not sure where you live, but that certainly is not the case in Los Angeles or San Diego where I have attended....I have also been to Mardi Gras and I can tell you....public nudity was rampant.

BTW - Don't you live in Newport Beach?

I'm not making an excuse for anything, but exploring an idea. Try to not read to much into thought experiments that I might conduct.

So you are of the belief that men and women are exactly the same? You do realize that has been debunked, right?
