Obama warns US will 'isolate' Russia if Putin doesn't pull back in Ukraine

Are you the saying you like the 'No Drama Obama' Doctrine versus the 'Bring It On' Doctrine? And a SoS who was welcomed in Ukraine, as well as praised by Netanyahu ?

Basically yes, though I was disapproving of his action in Libya, but here with the Ukraine, yes. And even the people that are criticising Obama no damn well there's nothing he could or should do, unless you want war with Russia, which some of them even want that.

Which is hilarious for you to say since when Putin sends troops in to Ukraine with no UN authorization you support him. Does Putin have a lust for war?

It's more hilarious that you compare Putins action which hasn't killed people and destroyed Ukrainian property to what we would have done in Syria. And no, I don't think Putin has a lust for war. He's not even waging a war, and the Ukraine military is not engaging him because they know its legit.

Mr. Obama has a huge advantage with GOP Mr. Cantor helping him.
I have damned Mr. Cantor to no end in the past, but will now praise him for supporting his President.

Besides McCain, most GOPs seem to be dialing back.
With Putin trying to make a legal case for what he did while going forth, he says no Russian troops are in Ukraine.
Without the EU, we are limited with sanctions, but they will be put out by the USA by the end of the week, IMO.
Congress comes back to work tomorrow, officially .

All seemed peaceful in Chechnya too then somehow 200,000 people ended up dead.

The billion dollars was first brought out in discussions with 'Mr. Cantor', the only GOP leader to stand with the President so far.
Do you agree with Pukin that no Russians are in Crimea?
How far are you willing to go to defend our enemies ?

Not defending our enemies, Russia or Putin. Thought I made that clear to you long ago in the thread. I'm criticising our President's response which has been inept. See American's post #317. Empty and unrealistic threats aren't going to work.

Which is why Putin is backing off today, after watching the ruble hit record lows yesterday along with a 10% drop in their stock market .

Putin is de-escalating as our stock market is going straight up.

Our son's and daughters haven't spilled any of their blood half way across the globe in the Ukraine.

Win-Win!

Good thing Obama doesn't listen to his war-mongering hater's. Those guys never seem to learn.

Seems to me they are working just fine.

After he got what he wanted and a whole lot of Russian stock market players made a whole lot of money. You know, the stock market players make bank when the market rises or falls. They make huge bank when the swing is large.

Thing is the VALUE of the market hasn't moved an inch.

Russia is allowed by treaty to have their port in Crimea until 2045.

The bankster/gangsters in Mother Russia reeled Putie back in.
Trying to make this a win-win for Pukie is so like you .

Ok, I mean if your predicting that this action means Putins on an imperialist march, we'll just have to wait and see.

I think Obama could learn something from the Clinton years......don't get involved unless you plan to take decisive action, action you're willing to back up with muscle. If you don't think you can do that, stay the hell out of it. You're going to lose the confrontation anyway, and look like a fool doing it. I'm thinking Obama should probably stop at condemning the actions of Russia, because anything else like sanctions or saber-rattling toward a country like Russian don't mean much.

Really? I suppose when Russia withdraws with little to show for it, you will not credit the President. I'm pretty sure you will praise Putin for his "restraint" instead. You righties have nothing but praise for that KGB thug. He must be your kind of people.

Really!!

Nothing the President's Hater's Club does, or the lows they historically resort to, surprises me anymore. Heck, I expect that from them.

But to hear them lavish their praise on that Putin commie, just to belittle the P.O.T.U.S. is a record breaking low, even for them.

Maybe they should move their commie asses to Russia.

Buuuut it's a nice target to shoot at pew pew pew

Russia firing off an intercontinental ballistic missile is just Putin's way of mocking the West.

Why is that mocking? Is it mocking Russia when we test a missle?

Well, business doesn't stop just because a bunch of disgruntled Ukrainians threw a rebellion.

Yes it does lol! With tensions as high as they are do you honestly think its appropriate to fire off a intercontinental ballistic missile?

Have a great day comrade!

We don't test missiles during a crisis and its worth pointing our that Nato and the US cancelled their decade long Black sea exercises because it irritated Russia, its called diplomacy something Russia seemed to have forgotten about.

At the UK or an EU country, sure. I'm pretty sure that's not what he did though. What do you suppose should be done to him for testing his missile, test one of yours right now, scold him??
