    I'd agree with that one.

Well, you'd have to be a little more specific. What are you saying is inaccurate? The report of Cook's outburst?

I think if I was an investor, I would have a wait and see approach with this guy, but the leash definitely got shorter. If he does what Jobs did, fine. And do remember, Jobs, even as a liberal, had harsh criticism for Obama's terrible economic policies.

His job, without dispute, is to maximize shareholder wealth. If you don't agree with that or don't know what it means, then leave the argument and educate yourself, because you are wrong.

Apple if I am not mistaken is the most profitable public company currently

As for Tim Cook, he was the one to set up Apple's supply chain system, which has focused heavily on driving efficiency and low costs from its suppliers, ensuring Apples high margins on its products. Tim Cook has not negatively effected Apples profits. As for activities that are not driven by ROIs, it is called image building and brand building, which are just as important to a companies long term health and operations

Apple s a publically owned company, and Cook was apparently speaking on behalf of his position at a stockholders meeting.

Based on those remarks, I won't be buying Apple stock.

More to the reason, what was behind it.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

This has morphed into a very strange thread. Few have complained about this, except butthurt conservatives.

The proposal had a 3% approval, folks. This isn't Cook rejecting a large portion of stockholders.

Then you make your investment decisions based on stupid emotionality rather than sound reasoning. Apple has been engaged in this kind of thing since at least 2009 and the stock has more than quintupled in value since March 6th of 2009.
