    Apple Goes Green, Big Time

Check the date of the article. Sept. 25th, 2009. Apple stock price that day around $185 Now? About $530 or so. I'm sure some idiot who doesn't like the environment cost himself greatly by avoiding the stock afterwards, too.

Apple gave our school its first computers, Apple//e, circa 1980 or so, gave them to us for free. It was probably the best investment that they could have made, as the school and teachers became familiar with Apple and then started buying Apple computers.

Remember when $185 was insanely successful for Apple stock?

Yep. I remember looking the stock back then saying "Damn, I wish I'd invested in Apple just a few months ago" and now I'm saying "Goddamn! Why the **** didn't I invest in Apple back when it was only $185.

No, and not sure where you get that. Just that there may be more to the story.

I don't know. History between them. A conversation that wasn't public that played a role. We are talking about human beings.

So, you think that a man that has made it to the top of his field, sits at the helm of arguably the richest company in the world, at a meeting with the people that essentially pay his salary, and believe in the company, lost his temper over a reasonable question by a person that gives him the money to do that which he lost that temper explaining? For the sake of apple, I sure hope that he is in better control than that.

That's I not what I said. I said there was likely more to the story. I watched our president before our take off his classes, fold his hands, and say to a board member, "you're just going to have to wrap your head around the fact that we have to spend money to do good in the community." It was a very tense moment.

You brought up things like "history between them"... so it is what you were saying, only now shift because you f'ed up in your excuse making.
