I suspect it was way back when Urg took too much of the muskox kill for his mistress Uhm.
The issue is NOT the question of the fallibility of man, the age old "power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely", but thank you just the same for the attempted deflection to the meme "Bush did it too."
The question is whether the moral compass of the party allows for an open investigation, which admittedly happens rarely; one of the last times being when much of the Republican caucus voted for a congressional investigation of the Watergate break in. That level of statesmanship is not in any evidence with the Democratic party and again, my thanks for opening up the comparative historical records of the party' as it allows the rest of us to remind the world how the Democrats voted strictly along party lines when their president, Clinton, had committed the high crime of perjury in the obstruction of justice. I do not recall any instances where Republicans conspired to prevent justice where a president had been clearly guilty of a felony.
In the argument that the Republicans are no better, you condemn your own party to mediocrity in that it then results that Obama is no different from those who came before at least, but likely worse for not learning from the mistakes of his predecessors.
In the end, it cannot go unnoticed that not once has any Obama supporter ever admitted that he has erred on any file, including excusing his claim of learning about events on TV, so the credibility of this defense is highly challenged.
Thank you for that post and the opportunity to respond.
