Lois Lerner does about-face, will give Hill testimony on IRS scandal

That would be accurate if Cummings actually knew the truth. He doesn't. So silencing him makes no difference.

If there was nothing there then there is no reason for her to take the 5th. The fact that she took the 5th shows that there is something to hide.

Lerner, the Main Democrat we cared about, had all the opportunity to speak and she refused to do so.

Take the 5th out of the Constitution then.
And give us back our $14 million.
And only allow one party to speak at ISSA's hearings, which will backfire in the elections .

Yes, ignore the fact that the women who acknowledged targeting back in 2012 an d then tried to pin it on a couple of low level employeds just took the 5 th for the 23rd time.

Hey, its just a Kangaroo Court. So why is she taking the Fifth ?

One has to define "scandal". Recently, the use of the word scandal has been used to refrence knowledge and participation of the President and his admistration.

It can be a faux sandal and still actions being unlawful. Ms Lerner still has the right not in any way to give testamony which may be used agaisnt her in a court of law.

Democrats lost this next election not the other way around. Who in their right mind would vote Democrat after the **** they put us through?

Don't complain about the Democrats not having the opportunity to speak when they choose not to speak by using the 5th amendment to cover their asses. You can't have it both ways.

they are looking at contempt charges. she lost her right to plead the 5th when she made a statement in the last hearing. they want immunity but i think not pressing a contempt charge is good leverage.

of course as the saying goes if she didn't do anything wrong then she has nothing to hide and should be willing to testify. in order to clear her name. i know i would.

Lerner's attorney had sent Issa a response indicating that she would testify.

only not as issa had hoped ... too bad he earlier misrepresented to the press what to expect in the form of her testimony. but that speaks to his double digit IQ
