The gentlemen of 54 is brought into the discussion to show that if even a middle-aged, white, educated, make-all-the-right choices male is at his wits end due to the no longer reasonable expectation that making the right choices will assure a fair and reasonable life and old-age, then why would anyone be telling our youth what is turning out to be a huge lie.
And the end point we are both making is the same, why would anyone seeing the collapse of the middle class, who've tried to do everything right, suggest that personal choice is the only thing holding back the impoverished youth of our country. It's the oligarchy, the corporatism, the inequality of opportunity and equity, and even if/when all those impoverished youth make better choices, they are only going to find that they were lied to. Making better choices is proving to not be all it's cracked up to be in the long run.

This is a problem that the government created. The government isn't going to fix it by throwing money at it.

If the program offers advice such as, "get you head out of your ass, man up and get a ****ing job", then I believe it has a chance at significant success.
If it does nothing more than promote the same Leftist victicrat mentality, then it will add fodder to the already through the roof crime rate in the black community.
