Venezuela Opposition Agrees to Talks as Unrest Rocks Caracas

Gafaw! We're amazing? You're the one who posted:

"Even if they do have to suffer temporary financial sorrows, Venezuela should tell the US to **** off."

How is it being a 'control freak' if we just honor your request to **** off?

In that you can't control Venezuela so you wish to tell them to **** off and snap our check book shut.

More American arrogance that we being the youngest power think that millennial old countries will starve without a hand out from us.

Yes yes, all of Venezuela's are due to America. All of Cuba's problems are due to America. All of *insert socialist paradise here*'s problems are due to America.

If they can't learn how to run a country over millenia, I'm not sure what dignity there is to be had.

Oh, so you/Venezuela should tell America to "**** off" but America should keep the checkbook open otherwise you'll say it's our fault for their woes...

What a load of crap! I sure hope you seek a better education than you have received up to now, your leftist prof's have done you a great dis service.

Why should America's checkbook be funding anyone else's country? It seems to me we have plenty of problems to solve here at home, and they all cost money.

Let's start by upgrading our infrastructure, improving and building more roads and bridges.

Too bad the last call for billions invested into infrastructure seems to have just been wasted making a lot of liberal sycophants rich...

"Liberal sycophants?" Is that how you describe the nations that Uncle Sam keeps sending money to?

What a bunch of elitist crap that is. Venezuela will be fine, in the meantime the US is the one falling to pieces. Thats just the way though, easy to spot defects in others. We really should be occupying ourselves with rebuilding everything there is about America, from our infrastructure to the White House, first. Then when we've got that all ironed out, maybe we can afford the time to criticise Venezuela, or Russia or anybody else we feel so superior to.

No, that's what I call the demo Obama dingleberries that stood in line for their payola off the $780 stimulus...What a joke that was.

Oh, you mean the guys from Goldman Sachs who got the big bonuses. Yes, it was a joke on all of us.

That's exactly what I said. Let's leave them alone and mind our own business. They will starve, and riot, and the world will witness another socialist failure.

The difference here is you think Venezuela is in better shape than the United States. Which is pure delusion.

Exactly. And, afterwards, they will either get their act together and rise back out of the ashes of failure, or not. It will be up to the people of Venezuela to chart their own course. Nothing the USA can do is going to change that.

It is certainly delusion for now. If we keep trying to solve other nations' problems instead of our own, we just might find ourselves in worse shape than the nations we're trying to help.

No, I don't think that at all. I just know the US is in bad shape and if we don't start tending to our own issues, we certainly won't be worrying about people starving in Venezuela. Even though your prediction for them is utterly nonsense.

Makes perfect sense to me Ditto!

What a punk Maduro is....I think the US should just say fine, and withdraw all aid, and trade with the country, and tell this little thug that he can explain that to the people.

What you have got to wonder is why there has not been a recall referendum if the population at large is behind the protestors.
