Sumpin fishy here. Their deaths were "not related to vessel operations or their duties as security personnel."

WTF killed them then, space men?

-- Two former U.S. Navy SEALs working for a security firm were found dead in the Maersk Alabama container ship in the Seychelles, police said Wednesday. The Maersk Alabama was the ship commandeered by Somali pirates in 2009, "

Autopsies scheduled for ex-SEALs found dead on Maersk Alabama - UPI.com

Im gonna guess murder suicide or some kind of carbon monoxide poising type of thing.

Could be confined space entry. Spaces with low O2 give no signs or warnings unless you have detection equipment on you. There are a ton of pretty dangerous places tucked away aboard ships.

It seems like anything except suicide would be related to ship operations or their security jobs including carbon monoxide and murder. The weird part is if they need an autopsy to find the cause of death how can they state flatly that the deaths were not related to ship operations or their jobs? I will be curious to see what comes of this

If they weren't ex-military, would you give a crap? Would it even be news?

If two crewmen died no. The fact that security men died added to the fact that they were ex SEAL's added to the fact that the statement on their deaths doesn't add up make me wonder what is being hidden.

Security men are crew, and their former occupation isn't relevant unless they were in a firefight.

The likely cause appears to be drug overdose, which makes the statement from the company perfectly consistent.

Their being ex SEAL's brings up the possibility they were murdered as payback from terrorist or at least terrorist sympathizers. Where are you getting the drug overdose theory from?

They found traces of narcotics and hyperdermic needles. Hence the autopsy.

And, terrorist payback? Seriously? This is real life, not a movie. You pulled that completely out of your ass. You don't know anything about these guys.

Have a link? I have not seen that in the articles I saw.
