Ponder this next time you get on a small regional commuter aircraft:

The guy in the right seat makes as much as the burger flipper at McDonald's and probably took on six figures in debt to get to where he is. Exactly how happy do you think that person is?
I fly not thinking about such things. Usually. Unfortunately United Airlines have begun to treat their employees so badly that I can't pretend anymore.

Do you have credible sources that show these millions of impoverished immigrants coming here and easily transcending poverty? Surely you're not exaggerating about a minority. I would love to see the stats for the millions of uneducated and impoverished that come here and end up being extremely successful.

    I am not impoverished.

I never said success cannot be found. In reality though, not everybody can be a successful businessman/millionaire.

While this guy is obviously being ridiculous, I would not be opposed to a very basic test for voters.

How many people cast a vote who couldn't name the past four presidents, or point out Washington DC on a map? Unfortunately, a significant number of voters could point out Nikki Minaj from a lineup, but couldn't do the same for Colin Powell, John Kerry, Joe Biden, or Dick Cheney.

These days, you should have a legal ID and at least a fifth-grade level education to cast a vote in this country.

This sounds fair enough, but I think having a test to qualify for voting leaves potential for abuse. Who gets to decide what the questions are? Who gets to decide if the answers given are good enough?

I realize it's a Pandora's Box, but we can't even get Democrats to agree to a legal ID for voting. The dumber the better, as far as they are concerned.

In reality not everyone NEEDS to be a millionaire. people just need to understand that if they want to they can work to become that. Hell...they can be comfortably lower middle income if they choose. people can be whatever they want. There is no legion of rich people deciding upon the fate and destiny of others. Thats the point. MOST of us that are comfortable income wise became so after decades of hard work.

If I was feeling more snarky, I'd say something about what the (R) might stand for, but my theory is that would get me dinged. Let's see if that happens to you.

So your real problem is that not enough dumb people vote Republican. Maybe we just need more old ladies who like "Teabagging for Jesus." There's real genius for you.

Funny how you guy's play pretend with this. If a mere 1000 SAT score was required to vote, Republicans would win 85-15.
