Be real, it is when whites drag a black man to death for being black that hate crime gets attached. It is when white guys drive around Tulsa Oklahoma targeting black guys to be shot that is a hate crime.

1. Black on white crimes are not covered in the media, but white on black crimes are headlines every single time.
2. Therefore, white on black crimes have only occurred when we see national headlines.
3. Therefore, white on black crimes are rare, as such things only appear in national news on rare occasions.

That IS the gist of your argument. That it is presented in the framework of black on white crime is no surprise, given this underlying claim.



Denying this is intellectually dishonest or inept.

I think if the vet had drawn his 1911 and perferated a couple of them we would still be watching video of black mothers crying and telling us what a bunch of good boys they were who didn't deserve to die. Their fathers, however would be nowhere to be found. Bring on the racial outrage, but as a kid if I had done what these boys did my father would have kicked my ass in to next week, and rightfully so.

Okay, I took Sayer's statement to suggest only that media coverage might be skewed. It appears to me that no matter the political side one might espouse we have all seen signs of that situation.. I don't get so "het up" about media cuz' media will be media... sometimes :screwy -"skewy"

Looking at crime stats a while back this seems comparatively true though I might not use "rampant" as the descriptive term.

1) This is where we are not on the "same page". I took this thread to be concerned with media bias which we each and all recognize. I did not take this as a racial inequality thread.

Well... what should we do about this? ..... I have no idea, I am not in control of the situation.

What can we do about it ? It's a Blue Whale!

As per the ADL, it's quite common in white supremacist groups to overplay the black on white crime statistics. They ignore crime statistics and conviction rates while speaking of a supposed "epidemic" of insert group here crime on whites.

Is that so? Of the many problems plaguing the black community, white on black crime is about as far down the list as you can go. Yet find and instance of this and the race baiting left rallies around in lock step. Oh sure, leftists are there with their handouts and giveaways to keep their blacks passive and in their camp, but where is the criticism from the left of those aspects of black culture that are truly destructive to the race? Cue the crickets. Rather than elevate the black population, the left has encased it in perpetual poverty, drug abuse, violence, crime and despair. One day blacks will wake up and realize that their would-be benefactors have actually been their repressors.

Yeah... I noticed your post .. after my last post "comparatively true"

While your post doesn't seem as delineated as I recall reading.. I will investigate later and if there is a difference I'll post and cite.... might be interesting.. or maybe I'm not correct.

As an aside.. I've seen and maybe you also seemingly conflicting gov. reports... I'll check later
