Your consideration is irrelevant. Group therapy is a very specific type of group, and the organization of which you are discussing does not apply. Promoting ethical behavior is not what group therapy is about. I happen to be a licensed group therapist and have been doing and TEACHING group therapy for 20+ years. Your supposition of what group therapy is, is incorrect.A group, dedicated to promoting ethical behavior is not a form of group therapy? So groups like AA and other support groups are not forms of group therapy? Since all of them are dedicated to changing/controlling adverse behaviors, then I would call that a form of group therapy.
