It is understood that inspectors don't do their jobs in RED states where they are paid off not to.
How has that worked out for Non-Union miners in the past?
i see you ignored what i posted early.
With your attitude, I could care less what you posted.

both of those plants are union plants so i guess the union failed to do it's job accurately in making sure that everything was up to snuff.
We'll see how the federal grand jury feels in North Carolina when they're done with the crooked governor and his links to Duke energy.
You may want to keep an eye on this story this week so you know what you're talking about.

the current Gov is a democrat so why is he not making sure that his inspectors are doing their job?

This has nothing to do with you not responding to your assertion that they were not union shops when they are.

No you said that these non-union shops were responsible for all this disaster. both of these plants are unionized. in fact Duke just finished it's next union contract.
So evidently you don't understand what is going on. so these plant failures were then the fault of the onsite union people not making sure that the correct protocol's were being used. after all they are union plants.

what this has to do with TN voting down on their union is beyond me.

VW evidently has made it a good place to work that workers don't feel they need a union. it wasn't even close to being close there was about 86 vote difference with almost 90% of the plant voting. on a limited voting scale that is huge.

while they are interested in an internal labor council they just don't want the UAW involved. they saw all the issues that UAW caused for the big 3 and don't want to deal with the mess.

your right i am anti-union when it comes how the UAW, teamsters and any other union that is more concerned with union dues and how much union pay they get vs the health and prosperity of the company as a whole. a company doesn't need a union the reverse of that is not true.

The governor in North Carolina is a GOP.
He has been served with a subpeona for his ties to Duke Energy.
He worked for Duke for 28 years.
Duke has 30-some coal-ash ponds in NC.
Duke gave him one million dollars as a campaign pay-off .

Why doesn't Volkswagon feel this way?
I assure you they are so forward-looking they are already looking forward to leaving Tennessee .

86 votes is about 6 % of the total vote.
What level of math did you reach to say that this isn't close?
The GOP is terrified to see the UAW and Democrats on their home turf!

The Tennessee VW workers have a great job BECAUSE of VW,
not because TEN is a right to work for much less money and bennie state .

    There not my numbers.

I believe those numbers are for a decade of political contributions by the UAW. Take the numbers you provided and multiply them for three or four of the past Presidential elections and they look like the numbers UnionFacts came up with.

But it doesn't matter how much the UAW spent getting Obama elected and reelected but what percentage of union dues went to Obama and what percentage of the UAW union members supported Obama.

Most not all but most unions have become nothing more than Democrat political money machines.

Is sucking the US Government's metaphorical teat doing something for a living?
I wouldn't think it would be, but you never know what others think, so I thought I would ask.

This is great news...........Unions at one time were a necessary evil but they have long outlived their usefulness........90% of them are crooked anyway.

They are the #'s you posted. Obviously, you believe those #'s are credible even though you don't even know what those #'s represent
