[R.I.P.] Walton's Star Ralph Waite dies at 85

I actually never watched The Waltons, but knew Ralph Waite's recent work in long-term recurring roles as Booth's grandfather on "Bones", and Gibb's father on "NCIS". He's one of those actors who never stopped working and was always in demand. I'll miss him. :(
 
The Waltons was a great show... one of my favorites. The final "Goodnight" scene of every episode has become part of US culture. Waite was great as the father, but if people remember, there were some great actors in that show, including Waite, Michael Learned, Richard Thomas, Ellen Corby, and Will Geer.
