The cities of St. John's, Quebec City, and Montreal will fly the rainbow LGBT flag to protest the treatment of gays in Russia for the duration of the Olympics in Sochi.

I hope more cities will choose to protest the anti-gay laws in Russia by doing this. Hopefully we can get more Canadian cities to do it as well as some American cities. Do you think that your/nearest city would raise the LGBT flag?
MONTREAL — The rainbow flag will fly over city hall in Old Montreal for the duration of the Winter Olympics.
Mayor Denis Coderre has confirmed that like other Canadian cities, Montreal will fly the flag.
The local LGBT community is hailing this as a positive note of protest against the oppressive and discriminatory practices against gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people in Russia, where the games are being held.
