is with deep regret that we announce that Terry Bradshaw’s father, William “Bill” Marvin Bradshaw, passed away on Thursday after a long illness. He was 86.

On behalf of everyone at FOX Sports, we want to extend our deepest sympathy to Terry, his mother Novis, brothers Gary and Craig and the entire Bradshaw family. All are in our thoughts and prayers today, and we respect their wishes for privacy during this very difficult time.

Terry is with his mother and family in Louisiana, and understandably will not appear on FOX Sports’ coverage of Super Bowl XLVIII today.

I was going to hit the "Like" button but that seemed inappropriate.

Will miss hearing Terry's laughter and comments today.

My sympathies to the Bradshaw family.

My Condolences to the Bradshaw family. I always enjoyed Terry's commentary.

Surprised I hadn't heard this, usually that kind of story hits big in the area. Condolences to the Bradshaw family.

I didn't hear a word during the SB coverage. Perhaps Terry and family asked that it be that way.

Could be. I feel for them at this time.
