Except for the fact that you didn't read the article.

Except that I did. Please to quote me what you read that disputes anything I posted.

Why let facts get in the way of making this a partisan thing though?

So what is it when a Con plays by Alinsky rules? Like you did.

I have never met a fireman that is worth a spit anyway.

I don't know how that happened, Mags. I was replying to Disputations, not you. Sorry.

So its OK for a fire man to watch someone die and not lend aid? Well, I could see that happening. Very easily.

If this is actually what happened......

Emergency Response can't respond without a "proper 911" call????

They can't walk/run across the street????
They all need to be fired if this is even remotely true.

Come to think of it, are there any "good Samaritan" laws in that part of the country? If so, they should see jail time as well.

In D.C.? I don't think so...But the article did say that the Mayor, and the Union both expressed appropriate shock, and outrage that this happened, and the two senior firefighters in the station at the time are on leave pending investigation. Considering the outrage expressed, I would think they should be using the time to search the classifieds....The "newbie" is not on leave, but he shouldn't be, he asked his superiors, as he should have...

But what a coincidence about a block down was a fire station and someone on that side went in for help and they came rushing out to help.

Sometimes things just don't make much sense. I understand the idea of wanting an address to send help to but if you have a detailed description then what is the problem. Especially for a mall. As if the first responders are not going to have any clue where a mall is in their sector!
Just curious I wonder how they deal with someone reporting an accident on a highway where there are no addresses?
