Well, i tried. You only see what you want to see; a problem more and more common among the conservative base.
It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

Can you not read, or do you refuse to acknowledge anything that sheds light on your false perception of reality?

Well, if it's light beer, then the latter comparison might not be quite as absurd as the former.

You know, I have no problem with capitalism and ultra rich billionaires, God bless them and more power to them (figuratively). But when the top 1%-5% use their leverage to an unfair advantage against the rest of the population "itza notta nice."

And for people to say that doesn't happen to a disgusting degree in today's world is just plain weird.

There are no parallels to be drawn. A bunch of hippies protesting is not Kristalnacht.
Well, I'm sure back in the beginning the Germans had similar sentiments.

It's not just the Hippies, we have a president and his party that condones, supports and foments the OWS crap.

I understand his Kristallnacht comparison. It was aimed at those who demonize the 1% who had nothing to do with negative economic results.
The OWS retards and their brethren are regulars when it comes to defacing property, breaking windows and the like. Not quite the organization of peace.
You do recall Obama bad mouthing those on Wall Street/AIG if I recall correctly, the people at the company lived in fear for a while. Though nobody died, it was a similar tactic. FEAR.

That the socialists in the press had a cow about it, did more to spread his greater message.

It didn't start like that, though, so historical context is at play here. What lead to Kristalnacht was years in the making. Liberals and socialists, cannot simply take down a nation with their stupid ideology, they nudge you little by little. They find targets to envy, usually in the minority but affluent or successful, playing on human nature to covet thy neighbors stuff. Jews were successful even in a down economy, and back in those days, and to some extent even today, Jews are not tightwads, they just spend their money in the Jewish precincts first if available, and if not then outside of their heritage. Hitler, and the Nazi's played off of that resentment, and to this day people still think Jews are evil money grabbing tightwads. It simply is not true. As someone that married into the Jewish faith years ago (Divorced now) I lived in the Jewish community, and interacted with them on a daily basis, and I can tell you flat out that there is much to be admired about the way Jews unconsciously demand ambition from their children. They demand hard work, and effort. I ask you, with almost 8 million Jews in the USA, how many do you know on welfare? I can personally say that I don't know of a single Jewish person on welfare, none.

Take from that what you will?

You're still being quite dishonest ditto, this isn't about rounding anyone up....yet.

I don't know what's worse -- the guy quoted in the OP going full Godwin, or the conservatives here who are more than willing to go along with it.

Sounds like it to me, based on the OP rant. What do you think it's about? Breaking their windows?
