Higher wages at the lowest level means more spending from the lowest level.
Should workers for the troops make poverty wages ?

With so many lawyers out there I'm included to agree considering they are a dime a dozen.

We seem to be adding to the unemployed, apdst. After five years in office, shouldn't Obama have turned that around by now... or at least held it steady...and stopped the job losses that are taking place every day? Maybe his policies need to be revised!

    Greetings, apdst.

There is undoubtedly a discrepancy between the rich and the poor. I believe that the people do have a right to be angry about it. I know there are many people that work very hard, have an education, and just have not gotten the breaks that result in becoming rich. I do not think the rich are obligated to share the wealth with the lower class, but I believe in time, and without governmental tampering, the wealthiest Americans will be forced into putting more money back into the market voluntarily if they wish to keep up profits and similar revenue streams. Eventually there will so little money left to the bottom 99% that the profits will dry up for these large corporations. They will no longer be able to sustain profitability. All these non essential companies that thrive on frivolous spending will cease to exist unless their owners, and other businessmen decide to put money into the hands of the consumer. The government can never effectively close this gap because there will always be compensation by businesses. Currently, the government is keeping the wealth gap at a steady rate. It is too early for panic mode by the corporations because wealth is being redistributed just enough to maintain profitability, without any major relief to the American people. We cannot legislate out way out of this issue, we must change the mentality and let market forces drive this change.

I've seen it in posts, but I've never seen a thread who's premise is based on Godwin's Law. I'm not sure what's worse... the fact that it was posted here or that fact that there are actually people who are defending it. Just remember... you are defending Godwin's Law which is consistent with failure.

I haven't done any real research on this, but just by judging what I see going on I predict that we will not be tattooing numbers on billionaires and putting them in concentration camps anytime soon.

IOW: this is another time-wasting thread about something that isn't happening.

And isn't likely to ever happen.

Maybe you could tell us about when you believe they will start rounding up all of the billionaires and putting them behind barbed wire.

Let's hear all of the nasty details.

    What a crock.
