The top few have eliminated more jobs with technology, employee reduction, overseas and immigration cheap labor than any other source. All Obama has done is stop the poorest from literally starving. He has little ability besides with the FED, TARP and bailouts to affect employment. Even the spending has kept gov employees and contractors paid.

The ignorance and fear being spewed isn't from me.

Well, the Europeans, at least the ones in western Europe, have a higher standard of living than we have in the USA by any objective measure, but then, that's really not the point is it?

What, exactly, has Obama done to take away our gun rights? It seems to me that he has done more to promote gun ownership than anyone, although he did it inadvertently. What has happened to the sales of arms and ammunition since he took office?

No, if your objective is to bash Obama, it would be much better to stick to real issues, like Bengazi, like all of the hitches that came with Obamacare, with that enormous deficit, with the growing power of the big banks, other things that are real.

Can we change the thread title of "Gov. Cuomo: Pro-life people not welcome in New York" to:

No, think of it more like antibiotics. Yes, we can treat minor infections with the most aggressive/powerful antibiotic regime, but we don't because that would render it useless over time.

If Nazi's are a good example of certain human failures and the enormous tragedy they can lead to, why use it for every single debate ever...it loses it's effect. And given that people understandable associate near genocide and world wars with Nazi beliefs, it's hard to argue about the beliefs without also having to show why it's near genocide/world war. And that argument has merit.

I do agree though that we do need some reminders in our every day society about how on the razors edge human society has always been, and how we are still there today. I think we're missing leadership in the country frankly. I mean, we have to rely on entertainers like John Stewart and Rush L. to "lead" on culture. It's bizarre.

To be fair, that's not what the gentleman was saying as outlined in the article in the OP. In my view, he was analogizing the "whisper campaign" against jews in Nazi Germany, building public resentment and jealousy against them, to the type of demonizing that many on the extremes of the left, and occasionally the President, does/do in delegitimizing the wealth honestly created and accumulated by some. It can be epitomized by the catchy "pay your fair share" liberal/Obama campaigns that imply the rich don't pay their fair share into the federal coffers when far more on the other end of the spectrum pay nothing to the wellbeing of the nation.

In no way did the gentleman speak of or imply there was an equivalency with murdering innocent jews. That take is simply a convenient dismissal of the point the man was trying to make.

In fact, no one should ever use an analogy that references Nazis in any way because regardless of the validity of the comparison, it is invariably dismissed out of hand using emotional blackmail.

What people don't understand is the argument that criticizing a group leads to the holocaust.

It's rich coming from the conservative posters on this thread that commonly use words like "moochers" or "takers" for the poor or a hundred different derogatory words you guys use for people that don't agree with you politically.
