Shooting at Maryland Shopping Mall.

I have friends (and/or friends of friends of friends) who knew the female victim apparently. Rumor is that the shooter was a jealous ex-boyfriend of the female victim, and the male victim was the new boyfriend. Evidently she was also a young mother. Prayers go out to all those affected and glad to know everyone I know is safe.

That's not racism, it's that the killings in Chicago is hood scum killing hood scum. That's actually a net positive to society. Maybe they should report it as a human interest, positive news kind of thing.

A quick google search shows plenty of media attention, nationally, on shootings in Chicago involving minorities.

This is national "breaking news" only because of the location of the incident. Had the perp shot them at home (and then killed himself) it would not be national news. Loser kills ex-girlfriend, new boyfriend and then himself is a fairly common story but, doing that in a crowded mall, really freaks folks out.

Maryland has some of the most moronic gun laws in the USA-they are close to Kalifornia, NY, Mass and other Dem run states

Well, yes the location does get attention as opposed to a private home.

In public places as a mall we can all associate with visiting and realize if someone wants to pull out a shotgun and start shooting you are like a fish in a barrel.

It gets our attention and curiosity which is evident by both of us stopping and posting in this thread.

It was not a random, or "mass", shooting - none but the preselected fish were taken from the barrel. Quite possibly, the location was chosen knowing that the intended victims would be caught in a very defenseless position.

Maybe there aren't enough good guys, with guns.

Cops--the good guys--show up with a gun; sometimes, two guns. The attacks typically end when, or shortly after, the cops show up.

they have been going on in LA, Chicago, and NY for years. Where was the outcry then?
