And here's the part that made me say "WTF".

"I am a conservative Republican and I believe in God first," Atanus said. She said she believes God controls the weather and has put tornadoes and diseases such as autism and dementia on earth as punishment for gay rights and legalized abortions.

I have nothing to say here. This speaks for itself.

NOTE: Actually, I DO have something to say. I hope the GOP runs her out of the party on a rail.

Illinois Repubs are generally more responsible than to vote for Atanus, though most of her positions on the economy sound Democratic.
I believe a good number of GOP voters believe these things but won't admit it.

Sounds like Williams has his own skeleton in the closet at this point with his ex-girlfriend.
Williams is a common Illinois-style RINO, like Sen. Kirk.
He's tacking to the left of most GOP House positions to look normal.

Illinois is one of the few states that has a blatantly DEM gerry-mander, on the order of Texas or North Carolina .

Someone who believes in god first and not this country, its people, and their constituents has no business holding office.
 
Wow. By her estimations, we shouldn't even have a government, God just will take care of everything for us. I'm so relieved I don't have to pick between an idiot on the left and an idiot on the right, I can just pick God and well everything will be all jolly... until my neighbor turns gay and gets my house flattened by a tornado, but hey thats not tooo bad right?
