De Blasio ‘getting back at us’ by not plowing: UES residents | New York Post

It really is a tale of two cities — this time with the tony Upper East Side getting the shaft!
Huge swaths of the city’s wealthiest neighborhood had been not been plowed by early Tuesday evening, leaving 1-percenters out in the cold, according to the city’s own map of snow-plower activity.
“He is trying to get us back. He is very divisive and political,” said writer and Life-long Upper East Sider and mom Molly Jong Fast of Mayor de Blasio.
“By not plowing the Upper East Side, he is saying, ‘I’m not one of them.’ But we have everyone in this area on the Upper East Side. We have rich people, middle class people, and housing projects. We have it all.”
There appeared to be no snow plowing between East 59th and 79th Streets and between Second and Fifth Avenues.
Uh oh, Plowgate! Time for a federal investigation and De Blasio anal exam.

Mayor de Blasio admits 'more could have been done' on Upper East Side during snowfall - NY Daily News

Hopefully our leftwing hack friends who piled on top of Christie will also call for De Blasio to be thoroughly investigated complete with colonoscopy.

Now that's some desperation, right there. Pretty bad even for you, American.

How come you didn't quote the part where they had hundreds of pieces of equipment in that area?

How come they don't have **** on Christie personally, yet still trying to **** up his chances at running for president over a lane blockage? I don't really like Christie, but he at least stepped up and fired the key people, even someone he knew for years. Didn't make any difference whatsoever to hacks on the Left. So I'd thought I'd throw the same kind of thing out there, to demonstrate that someone like you wouldn't admit it basically the same thing.

Say what you will, but it worked. Continued denial will follow.

Christie was a threat to Hillary and had to be removed.

Oh ok, so if he had so many pieces of equipment in the UES (Upper East Side) then why from the hours of 3 pm to 11 pm that night did many residents report only one pass if that, when residents of Brooklyn, including residents on his own street there reported cleared streets, and workers on top of things?

You can park as many "pieces of equipment" as you want in an area, if they don't do anything the result is the same as if you didn't have any there....

Are you saying what happened to Christie is the Left's fault?

I'm saying the left used a regional issue, exaggerated it while the media took it nation. The feds piled on with an investigation of it's own with the sole purpose of damaging or destroying Christies chances of running in the 2016 election. What I'm also saying is there has yet to be presented evidence against Christie himself, yet nationally 24x7, he's being damaged - again for the sole purpose of removing him from 2016.

Do you have any evidence of that or did you just make up a conspiracy theory?

I have two eyes, two ears and can see and am not deaf. Being the wonk I am, I find it interesting that federal investigations and subpoenas came so quickly in Christies case, yet political action taken against the IRS for discriminating against conservatives had zero accountability attributed to it, took 7 months before an investigator was assigned, and when he was assigned he was a large donor to the Democrats and surprisingly, (yes sarcasm) found nothing wrong. A signed confession via a Democrat politicians poll where they are forced to answer truthfully as evidence ... surely you're joking.

I have two eyes and two ears as well, and I generally listen to what they tell me and not let my imagination run wild. If you don't have any facts or even any information beyond pure speculation then your theory is complete junk, and you should embarrassed to have put it forward.

You don't see me for example jumping all over Christie, as far as the facts have shown he did not not know anything about this and he doesn't seem to be that petty of a guy. Of course no politician is nothing if not skilled at presenting one man to the public and actually being quite another one in private, but until its shown that he knew of it or even ordered the bridge shutdown to occur I think what he's doing has been quite admirable. By that I mean he's apologized profusely, fired the staffers known to be connected to it, and personally met the mayor of Fort Lee.

That is the problem with inconsistancy. On one hand you (the right) want to hold Obama responsible for a low level IRS employee in Cincinatti, for something that probably wasnt even intentional, yet give Christie a pass on something someone who was next in line to him and probably with him the entire day of the incideint undeniably ordered. And there was even a fatility, an elderly lady died in the backed up traffic.

It was a federal issue. You do know that an interstate bridge means mulitple states, and that means the feds could get involved right? It's only the busiest bridge of it's kind in the world.

No where do have I ever said I want to give him a pass. I'm stating the left sees an opportunity to destroy Christie politically with a regional issue - they do that by blowing the issue up nationally to remove him from the 2016 election. If Christie lied, as with anyone else, he should be held accountable for his actions. Yet to this day, no evidence has shown he did lie, yet the character assassination by the left plods on. I'd like to see evidence of the IRS and the Bridgegate ... however, I'm 100% sure the IRS issue is closed and we'll never know how far into the WH that went, while our wonderful media will relish lambasting Christie (a Republican) by stomping their feet and demanding every single email, conversation, etc... for the next 2 years.

BTW - the accusation method of posting gets rather old and is overused. Try something new.

I never claimed it was not a federal issue, just questioned the speed in which federal subpoena's were levied.

You said it's a regional issue and many others have said it's a local story. It's not. The speed in which federal subpoena's isn't actually that surprising. It's the worlds busiest bridge and the investigation has been going on since the incident first happened.

When compared to federal subpoenas about the IRS issue it was like lightning.

It was still snowing Tues evening.

God forbid the UES has to wait until the snow has actually fallen before it is plowed

Perhaps the facts then will show I'm wrong, however, I, unlike some, can tell the difference between **** and shineola. To think or believe Democrats are not trying to remove Christie from running in 2016 is either utter and purposeful ignorance, or extreme naivete.

You and I play no part - literally no part here. I'm talking about those who do - Democratic mayors in NJ and NY, the media, the federal government. Putting myself in the DNC's shoes, I know that if there's an opportunity to crucify Christie politically, I will want to go all in and then some without risking jail time for myself. No other Republican offers more hope for the WH in 2016 than Christie and if he can be hurt, he will be removed from 2016 and hopefully removed from the Republican Governors Association which will again, politically deal a blow to the RNC who has been gaining ground with all the Obama WH missteps in 2012 and 2013. Realize, I'm looking at this from a purely political perspective.

I'm telling you guys it's exactly the same!!1!1!!!1!1!!1!!!!!111!!!!!

In a way, that is right....This is a non scandal, but the likes of MSNBC and the liberal noise machine just can't help themselves but drool over it every night....It's as lame as liberals.

Are you not a fan of "non-scandals"? What's your criteria that separate a scandal from a non-scandal?

Has De Blasio been indicted yet? If not, why not?
