That would also be kind of ignorant of her. Surely she knows that most of the media are themselves Liberals, progressives and socialist? She wants people with "Anti-American views" to go on a witch hunt for people with "Anti-American views"? I guess she was never accused of being the brightest bulb in pack.

Are you kidding? It was you who started this foolishness and cannot back it up. Read the interview and then comment, in context, what she said. That's what you advocated elsewhere so why not attempt to be consistent?

REP. BACHMANN: What I would say -- what I would say is that the news media should do a penetrating expose and take a look. I wish they would. I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out, are they pro-America or anti-America? I think people would love to see an expose like that.

It's not "plainly obvious" if you can't point it out directly and in context. The fact is that she did not suggest any "witch hunt" and even the most addle-headed leftist could understand that .

What he actually said, "extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are." Not quite the same thing as the article headline.

He's right of course. Those activists are not New Yorkers, for the most part. Right to lifers and anti-gays are people fighting against legal acts that involve others. They don't even involve the activists. It is understandable that New York would not want pro-assault weapon extremists amongst them, given the extreme violence in the northeast by violent wackos.

I said that her quote about wanting a Congressional witch hunt, along with several other of her policy positions (which I listed), makes her "extreme." I'm not repeating myself again, so I guess we're done.

But she did not say she wanted a Congressional witch hunt, which is the whole point. You simply cannot quote where she called for one, and these false allegations and name calling by Leftists should stop. Apart from being untrue, these disgusting personal attacks are dividing the country
